Mini of Concord
I had a really pleasant experience buying my new car with help from Michael Chavez at MINI of Concord. When I first went to the dealership, I was merely curious about MINIs and decided it was time to drive one. When I told Michael that I wasn't going to be buying that day, he didn't hassle me at all. What a pleasant difference from other high pressure experiences I've had when shopping for a new car! He explained many features of the car to me prior to my test drive. I contacted him afterwards to see if he could find a car with my specs, and he searched the database of the entire west coast on his day off, which I later found out was his birthday. He saved me hours of time after the purchase by programming in a number of things into the car so I didn't have to decipher the owner's manual. And when I couldn't figure out something about the satellite radio activation, he got back to me promptly with the information. I would definitely recommend buying a car through Michael. Great car, great service.

My Bad Boys Auto Repair
Brought my 94 Acura Legend over to the Bad Boys to have the heater core replaced as they quoted about half of what the dealer wanted. They did the job - all is well, and they even ended up making the light for the ABS system go out as part of the process, something the dealer told me would cost me over $2500 to have replaced and it ended up not costing me a nickel. They also changed the oil, checked the fluids and did a complete inspection. They found a minor issue with the suspension. Peter jacked the car up on both sides and showed me the amount of play on each of the front wheels, then took me over to his computer and showed me pictures of the worn parts and exactly what needed to be done to fix the problem. The repair is not urgent, yet something I'll plan for in the near future.Super competent and courteous people. They even dropped me off at the BART station and picked me up at BART when I returned from Oakland to pick up the car. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Concord Mazda
Let it be known, Abraham Seminario is a true badass. Thanks to him and the rest of the Concord crew, my car-buying experience was a great one. Abraham was a pleasure to work with via email, on the phone, and in person. Special mentions must also go out to his brother Sammy, as well as Sales Manager Eric, and Billy in Finance. These guys all went above and beyond to give me a great deal on the car I wanted, a beautiful new Mazda3. Product Specialist Robert even delivered it to me in Oakland. That's like 25 miles. Now that I think of it, I tried to give Robert a tip for the extra effort, but he refused. Really, everybody at the shop was great, and I'd recommend it to anyone who appreciates no-hassle, no-BS car-shopping. By the way, if you're looking for the reliability of a Japanese compact, but with a bit of Euro-influenced styling, I urge you to check out the Mazda3. It's my first Mazda, but probably won't be my last.

Mini of Concord
I really, really enjoyed working with Michael Chavez at Mini of Concord. I recently bought a 2013 Countryman from him and he took all the stress out of the whole process. He went out of his way to give me the best deal possible — ensuring that I paid over $1000 less than any other quote that I'd received from other dealers. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He is obviously a man who truly enjoys his job and wants to ensure that he gives all of his customers the best possible service and care. He responded promptly to all of my enquiries in a cheerful and helpful manner. Minis have a lot of options, but he even made what could have been an overwhelming ordering process very streamlined and straightforward, and didn't push any options that I didn't want or require. He is a STAR, to remain so patient and cheery while doing such a detail-oriented job.

Concord Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
Contact was good and friendly. The vehicle we wanted was not available. At first we were told that we could order it the way we wanted. That turned out to be wrong as it was a 2014 Chrysler 300C.Reggie diligently searched and finally found a 300 that had to be shipped in.This is where it got upsetting, first it was on the road and would be here in a couple of days. It then went to a week, then it was in Benicia and would be ready Wednesday. Then it ends up in Visalia and another week passed. We finally received the car and it is beautiful. It doesn't have all of the features we wanted, but that evidently could not be found. Reggie did lots of work to find the vehicle we wanted and we thank him. There were lots of mixed communication that got very frustrating. It would have been much easier on all concerned to be up front on when delivery would happen.

Auto Import
Purchased an Audi S5 last week, and wanted to highly recommend Auto Import if you are shopping for a luxury used vehicle. They have a good selection of higher-end used cars. I feel I paid a fair price for the S5, and also received excellent trade-in value on my Infiniti. I was particularly impressed with Ashkon, who made the entire experience hassle and pressure-free. He was straight forward, friendly, patient and knowledgable. He was thorough in explaining everything through out the deal, and fought to get me a low finance rate. I shopped around quite a bit before I made this purchase, and was pretty fed up with the typical, slimy, cheesy car salesmen... My experience at Auto Import was nothing like that. Great experience, all the way around. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Auto Import
I don't know about the others experiences but mine was top notch. I purchased a 2007 Porsche from them one week ago and the car was everything illustrated in the very thorough online ad. I flew up to the Bay Area in the morning and was at the shop by 11:00. The car was cleaned and detailed waiting for my arrival along with the CarFax report, manuals, CPO warranty documentation, and all keys. In fact the original equipment radio was included reflecting the care taken by the prior owners. After inspecting the car and a test drive we closed the deal and back on the road to Orange County by 12:15. Now, 700 miles later, nothing has come-up to change my impression of the condition of the care and the fair and honest deal I received from Pooian.

Auto Import
Recently I purchased a BMW from Ashkon and Pooyan. These guys know their stuff! I have bought lots of new cars, but this was the first preowned car I ever purchased for myself. I new what I wanted, a BMW, but didn't want to drop 60 large on a commuter. These guys were great to deal with! They had a fair price, they let me take it to another shop to get it completely looked at,they recommended some local businesses to purchase accessories, and even fixed a few cosmetic issues for me after the purchase. Bottom line... I love my car! I will be buying from them again, and would definitely highly recommend them. Why would you spend 60-80k on a new BMW or other luxury car? If you want to roll in style, and save some money, go see these guys.

Auto Import
I have purchased two vehicles from Auto Import so far, and will continue to be a customer in the future. I was very satisfied with the cars (Audi Q7 and BMW 335 convertible) as well as the service from both Pooyan and Ashkon. Both times they went out of their way to get me the car I wanted in the condition I wanted it. They assisted in getting things corrected or fixed even after the purchase. Their customer service is impeccable. In general, use cars do not come with warranties, unless purchased separately. But both times in my experience, Auto Import stood by their vehicles and the guys were always friendly, courteous and helpful. And no other dealer can touch their prices. I highly recommend.

Auto Import
I couldn't be happier with my experience at Auto Import. Pooyan was super nice, very helpful, and he's an all around car expert/enthusiast that you simply won't get with other dealerships. He really cares about cars. Don't believe me? Just look at the quality of car photos posted on the website. That care and attention seen in the photos can also be seen throughout the business. Everything including the online quote, email and phone calls back and forth, test drive, trade-in process, and financing paper work was of the utmost quality and professionalism. Again, I couldn't be happier with my experience at Auto Import and would recommend this place to anyone.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
