Anywhere Auto Repair
Awesome service! They repaired my 2003 Infinity M45. It actually runs better now, than before it started malfunctioning and completely died on me. The great thing was that it did not cost me my arm. So now I will be taking my car to them for repairs.

Discount Tire
This place is terrible! I took 2005 Honda CRV in for a sound that it was making. They told me it was my bearings and few other things. Ended up spending almost 1800 there! Supposedly it was fixed and a few months later car still acting up and wouldnt pass smog. I Ended up having to take my car to the dealership to diagnose an ongoing issue. Come to find out this place put the bearings on backwards! Having paid twice now for one job to get done plus the dealership to diagnose the problem! Problem is now fixed and car passed smog. The owner was nice and assured me he would make it right but... I ended up waiting 3 1/2 weeks for a refund that was shorted by A lot non the less! Now Im still working on trying to get the rest of my refund! So far he is Not maling anything right! I leave several messages and emails and no one will get back to me! On top of it! This place cost wayyy more than the actual dealership by hundreds! Go figure......From my experience.....not an honest shop in my book. They seemed nice and acted like they knew what they were doing, but nope. Totally took ripped me off! Took advantage of me.. Probably because Im a female and I dont know much about fixing cars maybe they assumed I wouldnt know the difference. Terrible way of running a business if you ask me.

Above Car Care
I took my car to Above Car Care on June 22. After 6 days, I noticed a leak of what looked like 2 quarts of oil. When I checked the dipstick, it was overfilled at double the "max" line. I had the car towed back to Above Car Care and they corrected the overfill, saying it was only half a quart over. (I wouldn't have wasted one of my AAA tows if it was only half a quart). They also replaced the oil pressure sensor. When I picked up the car, the invoice said "due to high mileage, turbo making noise". There was nothing mentioned in their report 6 days earlier about the turbo. So now the engine sounded like a loud power drill from a mile away. I had it towed to a Volvo shop that confirmed the turbo was blown. Somehow within 6 days of Above Car Care doing an overfilled oil change, the turbo on my car was blown and needed to be replaced, and that's not a cheap repair.

Tech Point
Daniel is a great mechanic from Kenya. He does wonderful jobs and his charges are very reasonable. We have 4 10+ years old cars and Daniel kept them running without costing us a fortune. He is very thorough and he would carefully determine the cause before making repair, so the problem could be fixed in one try.

Lehmer's Concord Buick Gmc
I researched a 2013 Buick Regal last night and came in this morning to test drive and possibly buy. I was helped by Ron, Internet Sales Manager, who initially was friendly until it came time to discuss price. He took my information without having a discussion around price, what monthly amount I could afford, etc. He went back and grabbed the "numbers guy" Pete and left us. Pete immediately went in to their closing price 27k after sales and taxes, sticker price was 24.9k. I was like that's great but I'm not spending 27k on a 2013. I offered 21k with a 1000 down. Pete immediately said no and that was it. He got up immediately and walked out of the room. No counter, no question as to why I went so low nothing. Did I low ball? Not really. KKB suggests 22.6k is a fair price, so I figured coming in at 21k, and adding sales and taxes out the door 23k or so. The funny part about Sales is there is a difference between those who are successful and those who are mediocre. Concord Buick was less than mediocre today. And, I will do my best to spread the word that they have no customer service.

Lehmer's Concord Buick Gmc
The service light came on for our Buick La Sabre, and I took it in for a service check on why?I was charged $177.00 for a gas cap. This is outrageous, I can understand labor cost. This was way to much for such a small item.

Lehmer's Concord Buick Gmc
Joe in the service department is awesome! He always takes good care of me and my vehicle. Everyone is very friendly at Lehmer's. Nelson, who drives the shuttle, is also wonderful and I enjoy getting a ride from him whenever I need to.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
