Central Collision Center
I wish I could attribute more than 5 stars to my experience at Central Collision! After my 2007 Saturn Vue's door was damaged in a parking garage in January 2015, a friend recommended this shop for my repairs. From my first call to book an estimate to the finish, this was by far the best experience I have ever had with an auto repair business. The staff is courteous and helpful, the shop is conveniently located, and they made drop off and pick up very easy for me and my busy schedule. Carol coordinated everything with my insurance company to have a rental car brought to me and kept me updated throughout the repair process. I also really enjoyed their easy-to-use website portal that allowed me to check on the progress of my vehicle's repairs. They finished the repairs by the date and time promised and, when I picked up my car, it had been cleaned and looked fabulous.I enthusiastically recommend Central Collision to anyone I know who is looking for a repair shop in Central Ohio. Great place!

Central Collision Center
This review is regarding my 2008 Lexus RX 350. Carol has been absolutely wonderful through this whole process. My insurance company has just been dreadful and Carol helped me the whole entire time with a loaner car and everything else that I needed. All the repairs that were done to my car look great. I had my car repaired before at other major companies and I feel like central collision did an absolutely wonderful job everything is great!

J & J Auto Upholstery Inc
I had my headliner redone on my low mile 88 Trans Am GTA. The material matched the original almost perfectly and with T-tops it is hard to do the "curves" well. I took pictures before and after and the match is perfect. The price is the best in columbus and the service is excellent. He really cares about you and your car. I cant recommend enough! Thanks for the good work and I look forward to next show season!

Auto Glass Center of Ohio
I took my car to have its windshield replaced. Ted and Sal are extremely professional and courteous. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Also, pricewise, there is no comparison. They followed up with me after the work was complete to make sure I was completely satisfied - which I am. I would definitely recommend Auto Glass Center of Ohio!

Central Collision went out of their way to ensure that I had a good experience! They towed my vehicle to the shop, covered my $500 deductible, and allowed me to use a loaner car they offered! If you get in an accident make sure you give Carol a call at Central Collision because you won't regret it! Thank you Central Collision for everything you offered.

Rife's Autobody
I got rear-ended by some lady that once she started sliding on ice, "confused the gas for the brake" Rife's arranged to have a rental car dropped off at their shop and had my truck back on the promised time. They even detailed the entire interior, which was absolutely unexpected...THANKS Rife's.

Byers Porsche
Just bought a new Jaguar from them on Saturday and it was the easiest car purchase I have had in Ohio. The sales staff is fantastic and really took the time to listen to my wife and me. There was nothing pushy about the sale, just a nice pleasant easy process. They really made it simple to buy a car.

Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
