Columbus Mixed Martial Arts
I tried to inquire about my son taking classes and also could not get a straight answer from them. We signed up for a 6:45 appointment. They requested that my husband come as well so we had to bring our 2 young children. At 7:20 we ended up walking out without ever seeing anyone. I tried to ask for the paperwork so we could be looking over it while we were sitting there doing nothing, but they wouldn't give it to me. The fact that they don't have easy access to their own prices was very shady and we left. It was not a good experience and my son was so disappointed. :(

Taekwondo Plus Academy
Best place in Columbus by far no other is like it. She is good from the little kids, all the way up to the adults. Her hours are flexible and she is not ripping you off. Biggest thing is her students learn and want to continue to learn. She worth the fee and more. Best place in Columbus.

Jason is wonderful with children and the program is excellent but what you need to run for is that everytime you enroll your child into a program they tell you that you have to pay more for the next level. If you finally get fed up you won't get any money back for any payments paid in advance even if you have any of the voiding issues that are on your contract. Do not sign up for any reoccuring payments because they may take out more than what they are supposed to. Run...don't walk from this place.

Matt Larsen's Combat Fitness Center
Great place to train with more Black Belts than anywhere else in Columbus! Very family oriented with family discounts. And unlike most Martial Arts places, we dont just train 2 or 3 times a week, we train 6 days a week, and membership includes unlimited classes. There is no better deal in town, no better place to train! Peridod! Oh, and our head instructor isn't just a guy that teaches, he continues to compete internationally, and trains under a 7th degree Red and Black belt. Even with all the perks of Matt Larsen's Combat Fitness Center, its one of the cheapest places in town too.

Just a moment...
