Not customer service friendly at all. Very difficult to reach people at this office. Not helpful with apartment transitions. College apartments are in high demand, so I can only assume they have built in customers and high demand who's clients have to put up with the terrible service, like myself.

If your company has a A+ with the BBB don't worry we ( ex tens and current) will make sure that changes .unprofessional , negligent , theives . Extremely horrible company I don't even know how they haven't been sued out of business yet . 100% of the "positive reviews " are from family members or friends . Daryl is a crook . Gives black owned businesses a bad names . You are trash Daryl . Complete trash .

They likely do a good service considering it is just two people running a business at the kitchen table in a residential neighborhood. My concern is the things they wind up charging you for at move out. Soldiers just dont even bother to clean they will keep most of your deposit even if you leave the place immaculate as I did. They re-shampooed the carpet and charged us for that after we'd already paid to have it done. For installing a new screen on a window? That will be $40 [I bought the screen at Lowe's and the owners said they'd pick it up when it was ready. Lord knows how much they would've charged for ordering the screen as I did].My advice is find out who the owner is of your rent house. You can email him or her on global and cc the property mgt team or vice versa. It is a good thing to have a 3rd witness to any commo you send to this biz. You will likely get a txt msg reply. You will not get a call back after 5pm since they lack 24/7 answering service.

Worst renting experience I have ever endured. Was forced to hire an attorney and break the lease early because of there refusal to adhere to fair housing rules and regulations. The home was marketed as having heat and air, and even told by management that the home had both. Only to find out upon moving in that the home had neither air nor heat. They refused to make any necessary repairs needed in the home: •Damaged roof that leaked when it rained. •Raccoons that made there way into the attic from a hole in the roof. •electrical issues that would cause the fuse box to constantly trip. Electrical outlets would spark and smoke. •zero insulation in the home causing energy bills to be extremely high. Had the home audited by SCE&G they concluded major housing code violations. •Trash left around the adjacent unit from the previous tenants. 8 months after they moved out. •rude customer service from the entire staff. Would get into arguments with the staff for with holding rent payment for poor living conditions of the unit.•had to stay in a hotel when conditions became too poor to live in.

As a tenant of only 3 months. I have 4 problems so far. •Improperly billed for utilities •Unit damaged by management contractors and no repairs after numerous notices•Appliances and a hot water system inoperable. Management VERY slow in repair/replacement•Unit became infested with bugs due to torn screen (prior to tenancy). Management advised not covered.Look elsewhere if you want quality landlord!!

Staff cannot answer even simple questions, managers are always busy and call you back at their own convenience. Takes weeks to get tenants moved in because of staff taking so long to get repairs done and approve applications.

I rented a house managed by APM and was very disappointed with the service we received from them. Anytime we had a meeting scheduled the property manager was late by at least 30 minutes. Also, anytime there was a problem it took months for it to be fixed. On one occasion the garage door broke and was inoperable for several months. MILITARY MEMBERS- APMs lease agreement says they ONLY honor PCS orders if you need to break your lease. When I told them I was separating and would be breaking the lease early they said that was ok. But when it came time to receive my security deposit back they thought I was PCSing. Fortunately, when I renewed my lease I had our property manager sign the state’s military clause document. It took 6 weeks and a major headache to try and get the security deposit back. Security deposits are supposed to be mailed to former tenants within 30 days but it took 6 weeks and about 5 phone calls to get it back. On two occasions I was promised the deposit was going to be mailed before certain dates. I asked for emails confirming this, and they said they would, but I never received any. Upon receiving it, there was $500 deducted for cleaning fees/ lawn mowing. However, when I moved in the grass was very high and the home was dirty (I wish I had taken pictures when I moved in).

My fiancé and I were looking to move in a short time frame due to his being in the military. We chose a house managed by APM realty. The senior property manager, Elizabeth, was 35 minutes late to our agreed upon meeting time, which we would find out later was typically how she operated. A year later when we renewed the lease, she showed up 45 minutes late to our meeting to do so. Around the time we were moving out, another couple came to view the home and waited outside for APM to show them the house. I invited them in and let them take a look around (she ended up being 45 minutes late to their meeting as well), but by the time she’d gotten there they were leaving because I had already shown them the house. It took about three months for any of the maintenance requests to be taken care of, which was frustrating. Prior to renewing, APM waited until a week before our lease was up to tell us that they may not be renewing the lease for the next year, because of the property owner. Which was stressful, because we had intended to stay due to my fiancé receiving orders from the military within 4-5 months (had it not been for this we would not have renewed the lease).We’ve never been late on rent, however, one month we received a notice of a late fee; this was because they had lost the check we’d sent in earlier a week prior. Finally, it took APM about 60 (with constant calls) to finally send our security deposit back. They also took out about $400 for cleaning fees, cleaning the carpets, cutting the grass, etc. When we moved into the house it looked like it had not been cleaned and the grass had not been cut. Moving out, we absolutely left the place better than we had received it. We were also told about these additional fees during our walk through prior to moving out.I would never again do business with APM after seeing how unorganized and scattered the manager is and how poorly they do business.
