What a great hotel! The linens were luxiourous and the chocolate on my pillow every night was something great to come home to. Nice new flat screens in the room with ALL the channels. Front desk was nice enough to give my friends and I ajoining rooms which made the experience all the better. The staff was extremely friendly. They even sent Larry to our room to unplug the drain in the bathroom. He got there so fast you would think he lived there. Speaking of the bathroom, the toiletries were very high end, boutiquey even. The gym was conveniently located down the hall. I got a full workout in every morning. The gym has an amazing view east of the hotel. The gym and whirlpool were also down the hall. There were a lot of coeds hanging around getting ready for a big night. Looked like a hip party. I would also like to recommend our car service. It was extremely timely and the car interiors were plush. Try Rick's Cabs if you need a ride.

Came in with group and had split waiters. One was terrific, the other one the worst ever. We were a group so we automatically had to pay the 18% gratuity. Half the group had lunch (delicious) ordered delivered and eaten. The other half did not receive ANY food before the the first waiter's tables were done eating. Over 45 minutes. It took twenty minutes for the second waiter to tell the table they were out of the chicken wings they ordered. Then continued by coming back and asking the second half about what they ordered on 3 seperate occasions before finally delivering cold food 50 minutes after it was ordered. No remorse, no comp offer, just the full bill and an excuse about being understaffed. We had a $260 bill and then after waiting for an hour and getting cold food had to pay a $44 service fee for lousy service

JJ's Cafe
I love this place! The breakfasts are great. My eggs are always cooked to perfection. The coffee is delicious and they use real half & half and not some artificial junk for creamer. The dinners are like home cooking. I've never had liver and onions cooked any better. Their sandwiches are good too. The waitresses are friendly and will go out of their way to please you. The service is fast. This is my kind of place!

Room 38 Restaurant & Lounge
I really, really like this place. I've never actually eaten dinner, but have gone numerous times for happy hour. It's quite a deal during that time. Crab Rangoon, Pretzel bites, Buffalo Chicken Dip, asparagus.....it's all yummy. The only draw back is the size of the place. If you don't get there early you might have to sit on a bench seat with a table the height of a coffee table. But it still might be worth it!

Found this place because we need a hotel that was pet friendly. We were traveling with two dogs and this turned out to be a great place to stay. Clean, quiet, nice size rooms for a budget price. Pretty hard to go wrong here. It is right on interstate so it was easy to get on an off. Large park area right on property to exercise your pet. I would stay here again even if I didn't have our dogs with us.

Ramada Columbia
As a woman traveling alone unexpectedly, I was very pleased with my service and stay at this hotel. My mother was in the hospital and I was exhausted, on my first call they met my request for a room closer to parking, non-smoking. Hotel was quiet except for a little bit of highway noise. Room was clean and services (ice and vending) were close by. Rate was very reasonable. I felt safe. Recommended!

Motel 6 Columbia - East
Just stayed here this past Graduation Weekend for my Mizzou Grad; overall stay was actually pretty good. I liked the flatscreen tvs in the rooms, and the indoor pool was nice but the hotel does not have breakfast – just coffee and tea. That's the only real downside.. Unlike some reviews here, I found the hotel to be actually very quiet.

Motel 6 Columbia - East
This was the best Motel 6 I've ever been to, and I've been to ALOT. It has a heated, indoor pool and they don't charge for Wifi. The rooms aren't accessed by the parking lot – you have to go through an indoor hallway, which gives me a bit of peace of mind. Overall great stay and awesome value, I highly recommend!

Comfort Suites Columbia - University Area
There was some work being done in the hallway when we checked in but it was never an issue for us. We especially liked the layout of our double queen suite which had a living area that allowed us to visit with family and friends that we were in town to see. It was a nicely priced hotel and clean in a small town

Days Inn
the king bed was really comfortable (nice pillowtop mattress) and clean. Counter and mirror outside of bathroom which I love so I can get ready while husband steams up the bathroom! Breakfast room only sat 9 so we took ours up to the room. Free Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, danish, bagels, etc.

Just a moment...
