excellent customer service and 100% FOR the customer. Not only did this mechanic fix the main issue with my car but they also covered many other issues affecting the running of my car that I knew nothing about even after visiting multiple other mechanics . They are more concerned with your well being and quality service than a quick buck. Very friendly and good hearted people and they are sure to empathize and help for your specific situation. Even after extra service was needed they charged me less than my car dealership . You can not go wrong choosing Columbia auto collision. They have now gained a permanent customer !

I brought my car in to have a motor mount replaced. I specifically requested an OEM mount because, in my opinion, they are superior to aftermarket. I came back a few months later, and in the course of them inspecting my other motor mounts, I discovered they had replaced the top front engine mount instead of the right side engine mount. That's a problem because the mount they actually replaced should've cost about $150-60; I paid $245. I verified my $150-160 price with two local Toyota dealers and another mechanic shop. I presented my research to Columbia Auto. First, they told me it was more expensive because they sourced their part from Anchor which is an aftermarket parts distributor. So despite my request, they used an aftermarket part (a MORE expensive one to boot!). I asked to talk to the owner because I really thought they'd made an honest mistake and would be happy to remedy it (or at the very least acknowledge they shouldn't have charged so much/used an aftermarket part). I was shocked by the owner's response. He accused me of being a scam artist and advised that I should call Toyota for manufacturing a crappy car instead of complaining to him.

This is a new shop that is specializing in cars that others are afraid of, or that you cannot afford to care for out of warranty at the dealer. Their list is Mercedes, Lexus, Acura, and others. As the name implies they recently left dealerships and have started their own shop. The shop is recently remodeled and is very good sized. They seem to have a bid investment in the latest technology to get the work done right.I was directed to them by Mr. Tire who was afraid of touching my Mercedes for even the simplest of know what I'm saying.Met the front guy and he took the car for a drive with me to see what was happening. They pulled it in to the rack while I waited to make a diagnosis. Bottomline, I did not pick up any distrust that these guys were not ready willing and able to help and to do so with full disclosure and honesty. Since they don't have many years of operation under their belt, they seem to be more worried about paying their rent then killing me for their profit. Because of their new operations, up to date shop and knowledge base, I highly recommend you stop in to see what they can do for you. It may be a refreshing change of pace from what you normally have to go through with a high end car.

Merchant's Tire and Auto Service Center
"Called for an appointment last week 5/29/2014 to replace a standard size typical tire, was told the tire would be available on Friday. Received a call from customer service saying that the tire would be available on Monday 6/2 and rescheduled the appointment. After waiting over an hour at the store, was told the tire was not on the delivery truck and should be available Wednesday 6/4. Called today, still not available ???? What gives??? It should arrive Friday? Havent I heard this before? Who is asleep at the wheel. Do yourself a favor and Take your Business Elsewhere where the customer is appreciated."

They are expert mechanics for Lexus, Toyota, Acura and Mercedes! It's just like going to the dealer but without paying the dealer prices! Very honest and they do amazing work!!

The frot bumper and fender on my Honda accord was damaged by a co-worker of my wife. The co-worker do not want to call the insurance. Eddie worked with us and lower the price for the repaire. Columbia auto collision completed my vehicle's repair job on time and exceeded my expectations.I am a very satisfied customer and would definitely go back for any future auto body work/services. Many companies, both local and nationwide, specialize in automotive glass repair and replacements. Drivers should contact their insurance companies to find glass or auto repair shops in their network.
Windshield damage from anything other than a vehicle collision (including vandalism, storms, fires, and animals) is often covered by optional comprehensive coverage. Drivers should keep in mind that some plans only cover the side and back windows but not the front windshield. Without coverage, drivers must pay the entire cost of repairs or replacements.
Small windshield repairs can be finished in 30 minutes, while windshield replacements take about an hour.
The adhesives used in windshields need at least one hour to cure, so drivers must wait before getting back on the road.  Similarly, drivers should wait at least 24 hours after a windshield repair or replacement before washing their cars. The water and chemicals in the soap can weaken the adhesive. Because of the additional pressure involved, drivers should wait three days after repairs or replacements before going through an automated car wash.
Replacing a windshield costs between $150 and $300 on average.
