Mike Thompson's Rv Super Stores
After many months of on-line shopping and many weeks of going to look at RV's on sales lots, we happened upon Mike Thompson in Colton after specificaly driving out there to visit their neighbor next door (we didn't realize the two were right next door), we left the other lot after looking at a few trailers and no sales person in site to ask questions (they apparently were all in Pomona at an RV show - bad planning if you ask me). We drove out and my husband asked if I wanted to go to Mike Thompson literally right next store, I said "not really" (after all the on-line research I thought their prices were higher than everyone else when they actually listed the prices), well the husband said we may as well see what they have since we are here, "fine" I say. We drive on to the lot, park the car and I start on down the first aisle and my husband was little farther back. We knew the floorplan and size we wanted so I was looking for those models. And then.....Here comes the sales guy approaching my husband and I'm thinking great, how do we get rid of this guy. I stopped to let them catch up and the salesperson was very friendly and asked if he could help, etc. We told him what we were looking for and he takes us to the first one which was exactly what we wanted but too long (it was a 31 box and we were looking for 26-28), I told him we're on the right track it's definitely the floor model we want so on to the next. We get to the next one and it was ok but the bathroom was way too small for us. The next one was ok and I forget why I didn't like it. At this point our salesperson asked if he could show us one on promotion, not the model we want but in our size and price range, we walk over and pop my head in say no, we want the RLS floor model. He then takes us to a brand new Keystone Cougar and just asks me take a look at the floor plan and let me know if I like it. I walk in and say I love it, it's perfect, how much, he turns and says $42,000 and I'm like ummmmmm not in our price range, why are you showing me this? Way out of my price range, he smiles and says we just got a trade in this exact floor model and decor, I just wanted to make sure you like it before we go over to look at the used onoe (2012). We walk into the 2012 trade in and my husband and I look at each other and it was a done deal. So far so good, our salesperson Walter Huhn was awesome. On to the sales trailer to work out the deal. Randall the finance guy was great as well, got us the financing we wanted at a better rate than our credit union. We made our appt to do our walk through for the next Saturday and patiently waited all week. We arrived to our appt early, our salesperson Walter was there to greet us and take us over the service trailer, we waited about 10-15 minutes for the next service guy to be available to do our walk through. Tom was our service guy and did a thorough job of showing us how everything works, we noticed a few things missing, we made the notes and when we were done in finance finalizing all the paperwork our trailer was ready to take home, missing parts and everything. Randall in finance hooked us up with some great vacation packages and we can't wait to try them out. We got hooked up and pulled away from a great dealer. We were treated right from the time we stepped on the lot to the time we pulled the trailer off of it. We had one little problem, one of the roof vents was left open and we lost it on the way home (this wasn't our first trailer and we accept the blame for not checking to make sure everything was closed before pulling away, we didn't bother contacting them about it). At any rate, a big THANK YOU to Walter, Randall and Tom for all of your help and professionalism. This was a big purchase for us that we planned a very long time for and you all made it happen for us with little fuss. We will definitely return when it comes time to upgrade or downsize.

Chadwick Auto. I have never bought a car from a used car dealer and the last used car I bought was 23 years ago. Was looking for a Jeep and the one they had possessed all the options I had been looking for. Was weary about buying from a used car dealer due to all the stories I have heard. Happy with the deal. Everyone was pleasant. On the drive home, had an issue. I thought here we go, going to have to spend more money on it to make everything right. Didn't think Chadwick would stand behind the Jeep once I pulled off the lot. Communicated with Natalie about my issue and she was quick to resolve the issue. Natalie really stepped up and made sure everything was perfect. Chadwick Auto is lucky to have her. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a vehicle from Chadwick Auto in the future. Thanks again Natalie for awesome customer service.

I came to Chadwick over the weekend to buy a Toyota Matrix that I found on cars.com. I went to the dealer test drove the car and decided to take it to my mechanic to have it checked out because I had a horrible experience with the last car i bought. Anyway I got financed which i didn't think was possible because i have horrible credit. They were able to get the payment I wanted, I bought the car. It's a smaller dealer which is nice especially if you don't like dealing with the huge dealerships and they take forever. I would totally send my family and friends here because I got what I wanted and the payment that I can afford.

Just finished signing our Contract On my moms New Civic. She couldn't be happier its the 3rd Car we purchase here at Chadwick and the sales personnel just keeps getting better and better. Eddie walked us thru every detail showed us different cars made sure we didn't leave with a car we didn't feel comfortable in. Once the car was picked out Scott helped out with the financing and got us a super low down payment and monthly payment to top it of he's fixing the cosmetic damages that we pointed out from inside and dings on the outside. All in all another great experience here at Chadwick. Thanks Eddie Scott and Nataly

Many of my family members have been purchasing cars at Chadwick for years. I was looking for a dually for my business. They had quite the selection & very happy with the sales staff. I like the fact that they are very casual, friendly, a family owned dealership and easy to deal with. I was down the street at other dealerships and it just seemed like I was being pressured at every stop. Natalie who handled my financing was great. She was able to get me financed with a credit union I'm already a member of. I'm very happy with my purchase and will come back when I'm ready to buy a personal vehicle.

This was my first experience with this dealership and it was unlike any other I've dealt with. No hard sales, or keeping your driver's license until you buy. They had the truck I wanted and took my trade-in at a price I found acceptable. When issues turned up with the car after a couple of days, i gave them a call and they fixed them instantly, with no questions asked. They have a great selection of very clean cars on their lot ...

Bought a Ford Mustang from them. Very clean car. The owner there is really friendly and unlike most owners he comes out and actually greets you and acknowledges you. Purchase was swift and easy, but the best part is the fact that this place is run by family. They are friendly, engaging and make you feel right at home. Overall great, NON PRESSURE atmosphere. If your in the area I recommend to stop by. Great car Lot! Very clean cars

Purchased a 65 Ford F100 from this business.Met the owner Owner and worked with a great salesman. They were both very professional and courteous. I was more than satisfied with the price of the truck, the process of buying it and was in and out in a timely manner. Office was air conditioned, well lit, and every employee had a big smile on their face. A big thanks to you all for a great vehicle and a great experience.

BEST prices and selection. Easy, friendly/family owned atmosphere with no pressure or games. I purchased my Jeep here after months of research, got the best deal and they worked with my credit. Also gave me way more for my trade than CarMax or any other dealership. Smooth buying experience with non of the typical car buying issues. Highly recommend them to anybody looking for a quality car at wholesale prices!
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
