Great place. The staff may look a little rough around the edges but are very helpful and offer great advice. I am a lady in my 40s and don't know what the other reviewer was talking about regarding treatment of women. I've been treated with nothing but respect and I am a frequent customer. I am helped immediately when I walk in no matter how busy the store is. On off hours there was even a nice guy who offered to let me see and hold many of the different reptiles and took a great deal of time to educate me about their requirements. Their cricket cards are a great deal if you don't want to do mail order and have 500 to 1000 stinky crickets in your house all at once. There is a bit of an odor problem if you are sensitive to that, but the cages look clean. That is to be expected with the number of reptiles and feeders they have available. I recommend this place highly. Some friendly animals roam freely in the store which is a great treat. I look forward to every visit.

I'll preface this by saying I've not used the groomer or vet at this location like the other poor reviews. That said, every time I've gone into this location, the experience has been great. I've been asked if I needed help, I've spoken at length with some staff there for advice on treats, toys, shampoo, food, you name it.Their knowledge and expertise helped me get the best stuff for my new puppy, and I even signed up for one of their Puppy Classes after watching a trainer do one.It annoys me every time I go on here to get the phone number and I see the 3 ratings trashing them for the groomer and/or vet when the rest of the store is top notch. I'll be giving the groomer a try for sure. Elsewhere, I've heard nothing but good things.

Both fools below me know nothing of this store !they cant help if a dog or snake is sick in your care its your job to take care of them! I do know the man you are takling about and he is special so give him a bit of a break. Also i know for a fact that the cages are clead 3 times a day and they put no more then 4 dogs in the cases witch are fair size. They are bot neglected the people that come in at 3 IN THE MORNING TO CLEAN EVERYTHING play with the animals when they are done cleaning until the mall opens. So dont blame them because you cant keep your pets alive, maby you should read a book on it next time.:)

Healthy Products
I can always count on Natalia's expert advice with my pet. We've been buying from Healthy Products for about 3 years, and Natalia always has a well-thought answer for my questions. Perhaps the only thing I'd like better at Healthy Products is more convenient hours of operation, but when you're a small business that's hard to accomplish! During the few times we've needed products when the store is closed, Natalia has kindly made personal appointments for us. That's service you can't get at the large chain stores!

Ive never had any problems with bad service. Any time we have been in the store the staff has been nice and helpful. The store has always appeared clean and the smell isnt more than you would expect for a humid store with multiple reptiles. I highly recommended Scales N Tails.

We purchased our cat here. The cat was a rescue cat from the Humane Society. We were excited to know how much the Humane Society supports this store. We decided to purchase our Shiba Inu from them too. My experience with this store was pretty good.

Tips & Advices
Pet owners usually sign a waiver stating that any injury or illness a dog suffers while at daycare is the responsibility of the owner. However, most facilities carry liability insurance and pet business insurance in the event of a serious incident. To prevent illness, facilities are strict about requiring proof of vaccination and general health from a veterinarian prior to accepting a dog. However, in an off-leash setting, scuffles or fights might occur. Reputable facilities will often hire vet assistants who can treat minor injuries and under-the-weather dogs.  For anything more serious, a good daycare should make it a priority to get the dog to a vet, and get in immediate contact with the owner.
