Real Wood, Real Quality, Real Value.CO Lumber was started in 1983 by Dick and Terri Conine. It's purpose was to serve as a retail source of lumber, hardwood and moulding for professional woodworkers, builders and hobbyists alike. In the early 90's Unfinished Furniture Warehouse was introduced as an outlet for quality, real wood furniture. In September 2001, Rocky Mountain Cabinets Inc., owned by Trevor and Trish Ghee, purchased CO Lumber/UFW with respect for the solid community presence it was, and a vision for what it could become. Our mission is to offer quality wood and wood related products; along with a knowledgeable and helpful sales staff. Our showroom and warehouse are centrally located one block east of Nevada and three blocks north of Fillmore. We offer delivery service anywhere in El Paso, Teller, Pueblo and surrounding counties. We ordered 5 buildings from this company. They built 2 lean-tos without issues, but then started two more projects and took the money for it in full. This was back in April, it was supposed to be finished no later than may! We are now into September and our hay barn doesn't have doors and our quarantine barn is a shell. We canceled the indoor riding arena due to their business practices and they owe us over $15,000 and are refusing to return it! They are liars and they stole our money. We called the Tom Martino show and they also didn't get to resolve this! They recommend a lawyer and to sue this company to get our money back. We also have to hire another company to finish their work and fix what they've done. They guarantee the buildings will be up to code, but they aren't. Building has to be redone and built to code standard. Please save yourself the time, money, and headache and don't use this company.

We called these guys the end of April and ordered supplies to build a fence. We received our order on may 4th of May and due to the weather and my husbands bad heart condition we didn't get started until about 10 days later. it started with the posts, there were big gauges in them, the 2x4's supports were substandard and included knot holes, termite damage and splits in the wood. We used them anyway, but when we got to the slats it got worse. The outsides ones where "ok" but once we got closer to the middle of the pile the slats had huge knotholes in them, they were split, broken, rotted and some had termites still in the wood. Out of 290 slats we used as many as we could, but 107 of them were totally useless. We called them last weekend and left a message, but due to the holiday we had to leave a message. Nobody had called back, so my husband called them again this morning to explain the situation and tell them that we wanted to return the posts that were left over and to exchange the "bad" wood. He was told to wait for the owners decision. He called them back late this afternoon, since there was not a return call by that time and was told that they wouldn't take it back or exchange it. He should've checked the pieces out earlier and then they MIGHT have been able to help him. All lumber is sold "as is" and when asked why we received such bad lumber, the response was that they get it in bulk and just split it up for the load. Either way you look at it they knew they provided 1/3 of my project lumber as substandard garbage and we're supposed to use it as an outside project. The BBB lists them as a firewood company....so it appears that I have retained 107 pieces of firewood, not to mention the 2x4 and 4x4 pieces. Every lumber company worth their salt stands behind what they sell, except this one. The idea should be to keep customers coming back not screw over new ones for a quick buck so that you can pass off garbage lumber that your contractors wouldn't accept. I've learned a valuable lesson, next load I receive from any company....not Rocky Mountain Forest Products, will unload piece by piece or pack it up and get off my property. If you use this company it would be better to take your money and toss it out the window of a moving car instead of paying these folks mortgages. We have registered a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and suggest everyone do the same. We don't need poor companies doing business in our town. With everything said I still have to go and purchase about 150 slates...so my 1500.00 project is now over 2 grand, thank you Rocky Mountain Forest Products. I will take my time and search the internet for other review sites and post it everywhere I can think of to warn people about doing business with this company.

In early American times, heart pine was used by colonists for everything from flooring to stair treads, paneling to interior trim. Builders during the Industrial Revolution discovered this beautiful wood's other unique quality - unusual durability. Unfortunately, its famous popularity also brought about its demise. The early twentieth century saw a virtual extinction of this mature bearer of true heart pine. Thanks to the efforts of E.T. Moore Manufacturing, Inc., Heart Pine is still available today. In business since 1969, E.T. Moore is now the largest producer of vintage heart pine products. No other company is as integrated from salvage to production to marketing as we are. Unheard of in the vintage timber industry, our 5-acre site with 3 acres indoors enables us to process orders in two weeks or less. We stock three warehouses, offering over one hundred products that include flooring, exposed beams, stair parts, paneling and authentic moldings. Packaging and loading for your shipment are done free of charge. Our volume of shipments allows you to take advantage of discounted freight rates. We at E.T. Moore are recovering the beauty of this cultural legacy for American homes, offices, restaurants and public buildings. As old mills and factories are brought down, we salvage and re-mill the heart pine beams, releasing the natural warmth and character of heart pine's rich patina, bringing new life to this noble American wood.
