Memorial Hospital North
Was here for an in/out knee surgery. The staff was remarkably nice and very attentive. Waiting, was no such issue here. It had been a very long time that I had seen such friendly service anywhere. (You just do not see this type of service anymore).Had to return for a second visit, not long after, for a different injury, (an unfortunate cat bite). Had to stay a couple of nights. The entire staff from the ER, to my hospital room, every staff on every shift was so incredibly friendly, caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. In return which made me feel calm relaxed, comfortable (considering) during my visit. My deepest gratitude goes to everyone there who helped aide in my visit/ recovery. It isn't fair to drop names as I cannot remember them all, so if I missed your name I apologize. However, From the X-ray tech, the many Kayla's, Kendra, Shante, Vickie, the care techs, the kitchen/food service. The whole north wing 4th floor. Thank you! Job well done! I hope I never have to return to the hospital again, but if I ever need medical assistance again. I will definitely return to memorial north hospital. The hospital beds -not so comfortable, but the staff 5 Star!

Memorial Hospital Central
This is for Memorial's Outpatient Surgery Center at Printer's ParkWhen a patient goes in for surgery the place they go to should be comfortable and relaxing. Memorial's Outpatient Surgery at Printers Park is anything but relaxing and comfortable. The place reminds me of a surgery factory. You go in and sit in a chair until your surgery. There are no televisions or private cubicles-Memorial Central and North both have private cubicles and a television in each. You are made to wait for at least an hour and a half with nothing to take your mind off the impending surgery. The staff is nice but it took my nurse several tries to get an IV started and she even was digging around at one site which was very painful. Very cold and impersonal surgical center. It's too bad they have spent millions in upgrades at their two hospitals and buying equipment yet have done nothing to improve the patient experience at their outpatient surgery center at Printers park

Checked into the ER here last night and no one took my injury seriously. Had a herniated disc pinching the sciatic nerve and they diagnosed it "acute pain and sciatica". Out of the 4 nurses coming in and out of the room 3 of them basically laughed at my problem after I told them how much pain I was feeling. No one took me seriously as a patient and the staff forgot to have the DR sign one of my prescriptions. When I called about it today 14 hours later they said no one can assist me with that problem and that I should take my problems elsewhere. I'm very dissapointed in my experience.

We will be loyal to this place. 2nd time there. You can call ahead and put your name on the waiting room list. They have 2 pen holders, one for clean, one for used at the front desk. IN the patient rooms they have kids table, books and coloring, chalk board wall. There was a plug in for my phone to charge, (most rooms don't have plug ins for you). It's the littlest things that make the best difference, especially when a mommas not got much sleep from sick little ones. Everyone very nice and professional. Got in very quick.

I became a member almost 6 years ago. At first I was reluctant but the rates are lower so I went with Kaiser. Best move I ever made. There are still some quirks such as using their mail order pharmacy but why would you? No lines, no sick people around you and its easy. Plus, rates are lower. Also, they are working to bring their own doctors to Springs but that has not been a negative for me other than it is taking a long time.

I went to Memorial North a few days ago for a leg injury. The staff were all really nice and had great bedside manner. My treatment was exceptional, but the wait once I was in a room was quite long. Even still the staff made the wait bearable. Very satisfied!

I want to thank the staff at Memorial hospital North. Dr Fouss, ER and Dr Burns, general surgeon that took special care of my wife by removing her gall bladder. She looks good and feels much better. God bless you all. Thank you.

Sandy Winn NP
Let's just say that after 10 years of seeing Sandy Winn, I've moved a few times but continue to fly back to Colorado for my OBGYN needs! Her level of care far exceeds my expectations. Thank you Sandy!

Visiting Colorado Springs on business and my daughter became ill. Visited with little delay and very attentive service. Made my life much easier while traveling with a 9 year old. Thanks!
