All Things New Roofing
07/18/2016My house was leaking inside out from a previous hail damage. We did not know how bad it was until the water started seeping in. We called the insurance company and then looked on the BBB website and found All Things New and Roofing. I made the phone call and was impressed as well as satisfied with our conversation. Jim came out and spoke to my husband. He handled everything, from roof inspection to hiring qualified and legit workers. They repaired my roof, repainted the ceiling, fixed my sky light, and replaced my bedroom window. The whole team provided excellent service, was very professional and Jim oversaw the project till the end. I have recommended this company to my neighbor and she was very impressed. Overall, Job well done!Thank You!Mr. & Mrs. JacksonSchneider

Pyramid Roofing Corp
Scott was very easy to work with. He talked to us in layman terms and let us know exactly what the process was. He let us know about the materials he uses and the extra things that he does with the roof that a lot of other Roofers don't do. He worked with the insurance company and it was really easy working with him. He handled everything with the insurance company and us regarding the payment. They do great work. We were very very satisfied with our booth when he got finished. And we were very happy working with Scott he just made it so easy to do and no stress.

Summit View Land & Home, Inc.
John has been excellent to work with. I had multiple insurance problems with fixing my roof after the last storm. I also had skylight issues which the insurance company was using to deny my claim. John expertly navigated these problems, and even though it took some time, he was able to get the claim on my roof approved and I recently received the insurance check. John also fixed my roof issues BEFORE the check was cut. I appreciate the work he has put into my home and I couldn't recommend a nicer person.

Abello's Roofing
I met Tim, 10 minutes too late. We had already signed on with another roofing company, they turned out to be wanted in several other states! Thankfully the roof got done, I then called on Abello's roofing to come reinspect the work to ensure it had been done properly. They were very gracious to do so. I know now if i have a problem, I will call Abello's roofing!

With regard to the issue I had and Sean's word, he followed through on his promises and earned my family's respect. In an industry with fly by night out of town roofers and contractors, I was pleased that Sean came through with flying colors. Thanks to Sean and the Moriarity Roofing Company.

This roofing company not only did an excellant job in a short period of time, but the workers were very professional. My roof is beautiful and every piece of trash and debri was removed from the site! One of the best contractors I have ever used. I would highly recommend them to everyone that needs a new roof or roof work.

Tips & Advices
Roofers commonly use certain supplies to handle the task of roof repair. A scaffold or a shingle lift is often used to access the roof. Roofers wear hard hats, and they typically wear soft-soled steel-toed shoes that protect their feet and provide optimum traction. Roofers use basic equipment such as caulking guns, paint brushes, electric or cordless drills, wheelbarrows, pop-rivet guns, power brooms, power spudders, shovels, backpack blowers, and high-pressure washers.
Certain supplies are needed when performing a do-it-yourself roof repair project. Working on a roof can be dangerous, and a safety harness with a rope and anchor point is essential equipment if you want to help prevent a fall. You'll also need a ladder, roofing nails, a crowbar, a utility knife, a tape measure, a chalk line, and a hammer.
Algae-resistant roofing shingles are shingles that have been specially built to resist algae growth. A common method for accomplishing this involves including copper granules in the shingles during the manufacturing process. Algae growth can cause unsightly black streaks on your home's roof, and this may lower your property values.
It can take less than a day to put on a new roof, but it could take as long as several days if the roof is large and complex. Weather conditions will also impact the length of time required for this task, and wind, snow, or rain will slow the process.
In general, the average lifespan of a roof is 20 to 25 years. However, the lifespan of your home's roof will be closely linked to the roofing materials used. Roofing made with asphalt shingles can last 15-30 years, and a metal roof may last 30-45 years. A roof made with concrete tile could last 35-50 years.
