Lawn Pros
I hired Lawn Pros in 2010 and I have always had great lawn care & sprinkler repair service and results. They are honest, and if there s a problem, They always respond quickly and they let me know what s going on. Based on my experience, Lawn Pros is the best lawn care and Sprinkler Repair company in Colorado Springs. I have used two other companies in town and the way Lawn Pros conducts their business compared to other Sprinkler Repair and Lawn Aeration companies is night and day different. They also decorated my house with Led Christmas Lights it looked great I loved how my trees looked. I recommend their expertise and service more than any other service company I have ever used. This is why I felt compelled to write this review . .

Lawn Pros
With the terrible experience I have had hiring contractors to do various jobs around the house lately, I have become very picky, unprofessional conduct or any kind of rudeness- your out. Cant answer simple questions - your out. Outrageous prices without shoeing me what I’m getting for my money - I’m not going to bother to ask where those costs are coming from, you're out. Lawn Pros met and exceeded all mu "picky" criteria. They had the best bid, the were friendly, they left everything finished, working, and looking professionally installed, and the just plain did what they said they would. I wish these were the first people I dealt with when I moved to Colorado Springs.

Real Solutions Landscaping
Hi. I am giving real solution landscape 5 stars because I was so impressed with not only their professionalism but also the installation of the landscaping. I had my entire landscape done by them. They work so hard and deliver. My front yard was done in two days. A very large evergreen removed. A sprinkler system and sod installed in two days. Amazing. My back yard took two weeks. So fast. They built 3 retaining walls. Moved in what he said was almost a 100 yards of dirt. Lay my putting green,my artificial grass fairway and my concrete patio. So beautiful. Definitely use these guys!

Executive Lawn Care
These guys were Fantastic! They came out and gave me a free estimate within 48 hours of my call, gave me extremely fair prices, even for my clean up which was a real mess. I signed up with them for my fall clean up and they got it done within a week and on the date I requested. They jumped through hoops to get there on the day that I wanted and they did a fabulous job. I am DEFINITELY going to use them for all my lawn care needs in 2014 And they gave me a prepaid program for signing up for the season. Thank you Executive Lawn Care!!!

TruGreen Lawn Care
After hiring TruGreen to take care of my lawn 3 years ago, I've noticed the improvement and fullness of my lawn. Weeds are gone, grass looks fuller and healthier and overall my lawn looks beautiful every year I get the treatment from TruGreen. There is just a few spots where I noticed need more watering thus my lawn is getting drier quicker but I just have to fixed the sprinkler on that specific area and I'm sure it will turn greener.

TruGreen Lawn Care
Jason is always good to write/type ;-) a personal note about our lawn after he has gone through the spraying process. While I haven't talked to him personally, I get a call from Hdq the day before that the service is the next day. And then the note from Jason about what he found and what he recommends until the next servicing. I appreciate his attitude and friendliness. Good qualities!

TruGreen Lawn Care
The service was accomplished professionally and the individual was very thorough, friendly and courteous. Additionally, he offered me helpful advice on caring for my lawn and when I questioned him concerning the name of one of my trees, he acknowledged that he didn't know, but he would find out. Later the same day, he called back with the name of the tree and details concerning it.
Tips & Advices
Irrigation system advantages:
  • Lowers water bill and maintenance time with scheduled watering
  • Evenly distributes water
Irrigation system disadvantages:
  • Professionally installed systems cost between $3,000-$4,000 for a quarter-acre lot.
  • Some do-it-yourself systems cost up to $1,500 but are difficult to install.
  • You may need to call a professional electrician and plumber, adding $300-$600 to your project.
Some plants can stand up to the cold weather, like kale or pansies. These can be planted in the autumn or early winter. Other plants need to wait until the soil is warm and ready. Plant perennial flowers in mid-autumn or mid-spring. If you're planting from seed or sprout, you can generally find information about planting conditions on the package.
Why get artificial grass?
  • Cuts down on lawn maintenance
  • It's environmentally friendly since there’s no need to water.
  • Artificial grasses may be more attractive than real grass in drought-stricken areas.
Why stick to the real deal?
  • Artificial grass has a high upfront cost - $15 to $20 per square foot.
  • It can be difficult to install.
  • Inexpensive options might look unnatural.
  • It gets hot in the sun.
First, determine which pests you're dealing with. Mounds or tunnels indicate moles or voles. Apply castor oil to your lawn; they'll find another digging spot. Determine which bugs you have by pouring a bucket of soapy water onto the lawn. The bugs will surface so you can identify them. Milky spore and nematodes keep grubs and other bugs at bay. Insecticidal soap also works. The best way to prevent pests is with good yard maintenance. Certain bugs prefer overwatered lawns or yards with thatches. Regular mowing, watering, and dethatching discourage pests from moving in.
Fertilizer isn't always necessary, but it can keep your lawn looking lush and healthy. Use fertilizer with slow release nitrogen so it doesn't encourage weeds to grow. Keep in mind that overfertilizing can spur weed growth. However, under-fertilizing can result in weak grass, which gives weeds more space to take root.
