I visited this place with a friend for breakfast. We both ordered English muffin sandwiches. Twenty minutes later we were told they were out of the muffins and asked if we would mind waiting 30 more minutes for our order so they could bake more or change to a croissant sandwich. We opted for the croissant but as it turned out, it took them 30 more minutes to make the sandwiches. To make matters worse, one of the sandwiches was missing the bacon and by the time they brought to the table, my friend had already eaten the sandwich. All the apology we got was a card for a free coffee. Needless to say that after two months, I still have that card and no intention of ever visiting the place. I just kept it as a reminder of what a bad place this is and how poor the manager managed our situation. Thanks to their lack of planning, our breakfast ended up being brunch because of waiting almost and hour for a simple sandwich. The place was very busy when we came in and when the food arrived, we were the only guest left. For all the hype with the grand opening and the great possibilities they have for a big clientele, I see this place succumbing to the poor management in the near future. My recommendation would be to avoid this place and go somewhere else to enjoy your morning breakfast!
OMG! Fabulous. SOOO good. Had lunch with a friend yesterday, the waitress so helpful making great recommendations. Then the chef Ash came out to check how the food was, WOW. Will definitely return soon.
Kairos is a wonderful coffee shop with thoughtfully made drinks, great customer service, and an environment that is both professional and welcoming. Not to mention their incredibly tasty paninis for lunch!
fist few visits coney island hot dogs were very good. NOW last time i ate there the chili on the dogs were old & dried out . Seems to me they are trying to extend the life AND NOT SERVING FRESH. Won't be back , very disappointing.
First let me say that the staff here is amazing. Greg is always happy and friendly and will gladly discuss the dishes with you if you are not familiar. The food is also great and its prepared right in front of you in their clean kitchen. Honestly one of the best resteraunt experiences I've had. Consistently good!
One of the worst B &gravy I've ever had.the was good when the last owner had it.I hope the new owner have hired a new cook
Dale Street Bistro. Not worth the cost. It had been years since we visited The Dale Street Bistro. It is located downtown in an old Victorian that is, unfortunately, in desperate need of updating. What was once nice and romantic seems run down and outdated now, it is evident that not much care has gone into the home in the last decade. The food, although good is not gourmet and does not warrant the $14 to $21 price, and the owners and wait staff are not welcoming. Our biggest disappointment was the Gnocchi Gorgonzola at $13.95. The gnocchi had the tell tale stripes and rubbery taste of Sam’s Club pre-packaged gnocchi. Very disappointing. For some fresh homemade gnocchi the way it is intended to be, we recommend going downtown to Fratelli’s Ristorante, the food and ambiance there is vastly superior-see our review of Fratelli’s.
This is an adorable little shop, they sell jewelry, china tea cups, cards, and other trinkets. It is very peaceful and I sit here often to do my homework. The owner is always there and offers great customer service. Not to mention that she has a great selection of tea.
