Insurance paid them ten thousand dollars to fix my home. Him and his crew did half the work and never finished. Didn't roof my house right and skylights were placed so poorly they leaked and weren't right sizes. An inspector told me this. Tried to leave several messages with no return calls. He has people working for him that have no experience. I asked them what kind of experience they had when his crew members worked there and they said none. Took them two weeks to roof parts of my house and painted over things they shouldn't have.

Ace Discount Glass
I hired this company to repair six windows and was completely disappointed with the lack of service and workmanship. When he showed up to provide the estimate one of the things the owner did was bad mouth other glasses companies in the city. Because he was available I gave him the job, that was my first mistake. Of the 6 windows he so called repaired only two function properly. With out checking the function of the windows I paid him in full that was my second mistake. Once I did check the windows they did note stay up. I called the owner several times and when he did answer he stated that he had personal problems and did not have time to return to make things right. I ended up having to pay a different window repair company to return and repair what Ace Windows failed to repair.

Holladay Grace Roofing Inc
They are very unprofessional, do not care about the homeowner, slammed bundles of shingles down and caused pictures and light fixtures to fall and break. I couldn't discuss this with them as the workers didn't speak English. Made the stupid comment when I complained that I was getting a new roof like it was charity, this was well over a million dollar job in my complex. They only care about $$$'s.

I have had Troy and his crew several times, fix my home. His crew changes from time to time, but the quality of work never has. He warned me that he doesn't advertise and only selects a few to work for, glad to keep him. He has completed everything from minor drywall to full on Restoration. Best choice easily.

Colorado Window & Door Company
Can't say enough about these guys! I am so confident in their workmanship, my wife and I never have to worry about everything being done on time and done right. They originally installed stucco on our home in 2010 and just recently completed our rental property as well.Great job guys! We really appreciated the work on both of our homes! Thank You!

Colorado Window & Door Company
This Company installed my replacement windows in 2014. Needed to replace 2 sashes due to broken glass (not their fault) which they stated was no problem as they had the window info on file. Was told 6 weeks (long but acceptable) and they would be in. Ordered on June 2, 2015. Was given 3 different dates (starting in July) that the windows were to be done. Called on all 3 dates (they have never called me) they were to be here and was told a new date 2 weeks out each time. They gave no apology and had no reason for the delay. Told them that I was not happy with them the during the last call, and asked them to figure out when the sashes would be done and call me back. Give me an honest date or tell me you cannot help me so I can move on. After weeks without a call I finally had City Glass replace the glass in the sashes. Took them 1 week! Makes me very concerned about any warranty work I may need down the road. Find a contractor that can back their products and provide service, unlike this company.

Yard Guys
I called and had them cut my yard. They did a great job and I have them come back every 2 weeks. They gave me some cards and said that for every friend I send them, I get $5 off my next service... AND I get a $5 lawn care credit every time that same friend uses them again and again!

These guys are hacks. It's hard to begin explaining how unprofessional and Bush League they are. The owner says he's prior military...trustworthy, etc. He's nothing more than a con artist who could care less about the customer. Please be smart: spend the extra $$ to hire a professional. Not a bunch of rookies who will take your $$ and run.

Tucco Home Improvements
Brian from Tucco Home Improvements came the day I called him and was able to fix all the projects I had on my list within 2 hours. He did all the work very fast and efficiently and had everything he needed on his truck. I will never use another handyman now that I have found Tucco. Mel J.

Tips & Advices
Yes, most custom cabinet makers can also provide countertops, but the price of cabinets does not automatically include the countertops.
Yes, custom cabinets are available for basically any room in the house: bathrooms, bedroom, breakfast room, den, home office, library, and even laundry room.
Custom cabinets are priced by the linear foot. When building out a quote, the cabinet maker will factor in material cost, additional cost for special features, molding and trim, and the labor cost, including installation.
The time window for making custom cabinets varies according to how many workers are on the job. An efficient two-person shop should be able to build five or six cabinets per day. Some will outsource certain components, such as doors or rails, for greater speed. Regardless, woodworkers or cabinet-makers who know what they’re doing aim to finish build and installation within nine to 12 days. That said, many cabinet makers will give a four- to six-week time estimate because they’re also working on other projects, or they want to give themselves a cushion to complete the job. This timeframe does not account for the time needed to design, build the quote, and order any special materials.
Custom-cabinet finish types include stain, varnish, paint, and glaze. Stain and paint are both options for base coats. Varnish and glaze are options to use as topcoats over paint or stain. Acrylic and laminate finishes are used to create a glossy, shiny contemporary look atop engineered wood cabinets.
