We moved to Colorado Springs in December of 2013 and thoroughly researched child development centers for our 2 and 4 year old sons. We had high expectations based our experience with our previous preschool. Based on our research we visited 3 centers and Goddard was the clear winner. But at the end of the day you really do not know if it is the best choice until your kids settle in, you have some experiences and see the response and the results. 6 months after our decision we feel even stronger about our decision to send our kids to the Colorado Springs Goddard School. From the front office team, to the management to the teachers, they all do the their very best even in the most challenging circumstances. I have seen them rally around families going through tragic circumstances and go above an beyond. The communication is frequent, informative and clear. My experiences with the teachers has been positive and they actively work with you and your child on their needs while balancing the needs of the other children. The management is very engaged and responsive. I have a hard time getting my kids to leave school at the end of the day. Based on our experience, I highly recommend this school.

As a past employee of this center, (left after I received my teaching certificate) I can honestly tell you this center is a warm and inviting environment. The majority of the employees have worked there 5 years plus, demonstrating it is a great place to work. Additionally, the majority of kids have been there since babies, proving parents love the teachers and service. Never did we ever drive a van when students were not properly buckled and if the owner discovered this were to be true he would have corrected the behavior immediately. Buckling so many times, you get to be experts on the activity and learn to go faster so the kids are not sitting in a hot van!! I loved working there myself, and before having children, I continued to come back as a summer employee. I would suggest to this individual who called the center to ask to speak directly to the owner, and I am most confident he would have been more than happy to have a proper discussion on the matter. Now working on my administrator certification, I have learned how important it is to give administrators proper time to solve problems.
My child has been at Old Town Learning Center since she was 6wks old. She is now 5 and still attends the Center, In the 5 years I have been there I have seen staff come and go, but many have been there for over 12 years. When the previous owner sold the center I was sad but glad too, There have been several changes and ALL for the good. One biggest concern I had was there was no security and now we have that. The new owner is compassionate, caring, and thoughtful of ALL the children, parents and her staff. You should come by and see the changes the new owner has made.
