Lacks communication and professionalism
If I could rate this business 0 stars I would! The owner of the business, Beverly Serman is incapable of managing her existing clients, yet she continues to recruit new clients. She hires providers without offering proper training. I've had respite workers show up at my house who have no clue about addressing my child's special needs. Her workers have cancelled last minute and left us stranded more times than I can count. Her providers are independent contractors so she says they can do whatever they want. She uses her boyfriend to pick up the slack when she's overwhelmed with her job as a bus driver, and he has no clue about anything. She's been audited and failed miserably. I wouldn't recommend this business to my worst enemy. I'm shocked that she even has any clients, after how she has botched up so badly. Even her independent contractors complain about the way she does business. Don't let her profile fool you. She operates this company out of her own home and after she lures you in, with all kinds of promises, she'll give you bottom of the barrel service as she continues to rope in new clients, that take your place in line.
This Is a facility within the R.J.Montgomery Salvation Army Shelter. It is overseen by The Homeless Clinic next door. The Doctors & PAs who serve the homeless community are heads above most people in their field. They will take the best of care of your needs and get you moving in the healthiest direction; all bases upon your specific needs. I highly recommend this facility and the Homeless Clinic.
Find another supplier if you can.My experience:1. On the return from the hospital my wife had 1 hour of oxygen left before a special delivery was made. Apria botched the order.2. The oxygen concentrator failed after 5 days.3. The homefill unit (which fills portable tanks) failed after 6 days4. The customer service is beyond abysmal. You do not get to talk with your local office. Half the time you end up talking to someone with very poor English. The automated phone system will tax your patience.5. This is not my first experience with Apria. My general impression is that they just don't care about service.
Very sad. My Mother has not recovered from her experiencewith BEO.Background checks are not important to this company. Hire someone different.Just finished a two year court process and won against an employee.
After having to call several times due to circular menus and disconnected calls to get a real person, I had to begin with who I was and my insurance info. Usually the process takes off from there, but for this one I found myself having to explain who TriCare was. Frustrated, I took copies of my referral letters to their office in town. In the office they seemed like they knew what they were doing, and the lady explained I can expect to hear from them within 14 days. That was in mid-March. It's now nearly May, and I just got off a 40-minute call. I again had to explain who I was, and specifically asked what more they needed. They kept referring to my old office phone number as my ID number. After being on hold for most of 40 minutes, they hung up on me. Based on the information I physically dropped off with their office I really can't figure out what more they need. If your doctor refers you here, do yourself a favor and pass.
We hired First Light to help Mom with her medications, checking on her oxygen, assisting with showers, getting her to meals on time, and checking on her before retiring for the night. The caregivers are great people and truly very helpful with Mom's needs. Charlene is very caring and knowledgeable. Some elderly folks can be somewhat contrary, intimidating, and don't want to cooperate with anyone. Charlene does a great job when she slows herself down a bit. Shaylee is young, but with a bit more training, can be a great asset. Scheduling is great!! Kirsten is VERY accommodating and has been a pleasure to work with.
I can not wait to leave this company. I just called for tanks and I was told I can't get them on a Saturday because it isn't an emergency. First it took me 30 minutes to get connected to a live person to tell me no tanks. This means I have to stay home all weekend so how nice. I have to have tanks for work on Monday. Thanks for not doing your job. How can you only be open 4 days a week?
Had an in home apt today to service ventilator. When I called to find out about what time to expectthem, oh I can't tell you that. It took 42 minutes on hold to find out they won't give you a time window.Great Service !!!!
