Cornerstone Roofing & Gutter
Woman who answers the phone is so nasty! I asked to speak to the owner and she retorted, "he would not be interested" and slammed the phone down in my ear. I will be calling around for another roofing company and would suggest that you do the same.

Did bad work. Roof started leaking in less than a year. When you call no one answers. All you get our messages that the message service is full. Do not use this company.

These guys man... Third time I've rented from them. Second time I set everything up and included a trailer rental. After telling the clerk over the phone what year/make/model my truck was, I drove all the way from Fountain only to discover my truck was too old for their trailer connections (they have to deliver it and while it was slightly discounted, they happily charged me). Fast forward to this month, and I show up there for another piece of equipment (that I set up over the phone, same as last) only to be turned away AGAIN because the mini excavator was too heavy and I needed a brake controller (absolutely absurd for me to visit this place TWICE and not be told what I needed to tow their equipment ahead of time). They happily charge me a delivery fee again. This could have easily been avoided with a simple question when I called, "Is your truck properly equipped to tow a trailer?" I sure as hell thought it was, but they could have set me straight before I got there. Fast forward again to today when I checked my CC statement: $883 for three days. The weekly rate for one is $600 and the other is $250; you do the math. I ended up needing the equipment longer than I had planned (originally 1 day) and finally called when I said enough was enough and I couldn't afford any more. Turns out I was less than $150 bucks away from having it for another 4 days and being able to finish my project. They could have EASILY informed me of this over the phone when I called to inform them I was ready for pickup. I called today to see what was up with the bill and when I pointed out this fact, I was met with "tough luck" and "you should have paid better attention."Let's also talk about the fact that their equipment sat in my yard for an additional day when they couldn't come pick it up. They were sure able to call and make sure their stuff was safe, but F any inconvenience it might have had for me. Just a terrible way to run a business. Make sure you pay close attention to EVERYTHING with these guys, they clearly don't have the customer's best interest in mind and have no problem nickle-and-dimeing you to death.

All Things New Roofing
07/18/2016My house was leaking inside out from a previous hail damage. We did not know how bad it was until the water started seeping in. We called the insurance company and then looked on the BBB website and found All Things New and Roofing. I made the phone call and was impressed as well as satisfied with our conversation. Jim came out and spoke to my husband. He handled everything, from roof inspection to hiring qualified and legit workers. They repaired my roof, repainted the ceiling, fixed my sky light, and replaced my bedroom window. The whole team provided excellent service, was very professional and Jim oversaw the project till the end. I have recommended this company to my neighbor and she was very impressed. Overall, Job well done!Thank You!Mr. & Mrs. JacksonSchneider

Scott was very easy to work with. He talked to us in layman terms and let us know exactly what the process was. He let us know about the materials he uses and the extra things that he does with the roof that a lot of other Roofers don't do. He worked with the insurance company and it was really easy working with him. He handled everything with the insurance company and us regarding the payment. They do great work. We were very very satisfied with our booth when he got finished. And we were very happy working with Scott he just made it so easy to do and no stress.
Tips & Advices
The most common types of roofing material are:
  • Asphalt shingles
  • Metal roofing
  • Slate shingles
  • Concrete roofing
Metal roofing material and algae-resistant asphalt shingles are the appropriate roofing material for rainy climates.
Houses located in  areas which are prone to wildfires, should avoid the use of flammable roofing materials such as wood shingles.
Not only should you ask to get in contact with past clients, it is also recommended that  homeowners visit projects currently underway to see how the contractor or company actually performs during a job. You can also go online and check out other customer reviews.
Reputable roofers do offer a warranty against poor workmanship. Additionally, the material used often carries a warranty from the manufacturer against defects (assuming proper installation). It is the homeowner’s responsibility to check on the availability of all such warranties before any work is performed.
