Najwas Salon
very poor customer service. Booked an appointment and walked in to find out stylist booked for was not available and they asked me to wait saying she is on the way. Waited 20 mins n had to reschedule for next day. Called and confirmed if she was available before coming in to find she double booked and said she can't take me and I could use a different stylist. If I wanted that, I would have done it prev day. Very bad customer service.

American Family Dentistry Collierville
had a root canal done in July of 2016 and kept experiencing pain in the same tooth the root canal was done on. Fast forward, I'm told to return to this dentist office to get my tooth checked out again since they completed my root canal initially. So I returned to them in Feb 2017 due to tooth pain in the same tooth. During the exam of the tooth, it was discovered that THEY had MISSED a canal while completing my root canal in the summer. So I had to pay to get what was supposed to have been taken care of in the past again. Not including having to get a crown put on the tooth. Now I have a crown on the tooth that they completed the root canal on and I am still experiencing pain in this same tooth. When I told the dentist about it at my final appointment with her, she tried to brush it off by stating that it was because I needed a tooth cleaning in that area and that the tooth in front of that one needed a root canal too so that's where the pain was coming from. So now, I'm still having pain in my tooth which I've had a work done on twice due to the dentist missing a canal and my tooth becoming infected. I would advise everyone to use caution when dealing with this dentist office located at 2130 W Poplar Ave. also, get a second option from another dentist.

D'llands Hair & Nail Salon
I love this salon! Friendliest place around and great at what they do! This place is a hair salon and not a spa or boutique. They specialize in HAIR not clothes or jewelry. They won't try to sell you everything from soap, candles, clothes, shoes or even home decor . I've been in "Spas or Boutiques" that I wasn't sure the hair salon part wasn't an after thought! If its great hair you want you have to give them a try!!

Upper Level The
Not worth itThis salon offers an average service for the price that you pay. Service is truly unprofessional and not worth the money you spend on the treatments. The staff is not friendly and the stylists manage their own bookings, which is quite tedious

Kaz's Main Street Garage
I just experienced honest and integrity with this small auto repair shop and its team. Almost three weeks ago my water pump went out and we used Kaz's Garage to repair it; then two days ago my automobile began leaking again. I returned to Kaz's and they diagosed the new pump had a defect. The pump was removed and replaced with a new pump at No Charge and with every professional attitude that could be given by everyone. This Garage has complete integrity and we have already shared our story with others who need the services of honest mechanics and owners. Thank you so much guys! God bless! Janice and Bill Latimer

Dr. Belisle is not a patient woman at all. She wants to rush through whatever work she is doing in your mouth. Heaven forbid you have a question for her! My husband (whose first language is not English) was trying to get her to answer a question he had about a $4,200 procedure that we are paying for out of our pocket, her reaponse was "This is the fourth time in telling you; you are wasting my time." We have to stay with her through the rest of the procedure, but after that, we are finished with her. It really is a shame because I like the dental hygienists a lot. They are great, but Dr. Belisle is a blight in that office.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
