Rose, Herman, MD
He provided 56 stiches for me my forehead in the 70's-- while I was involved in a car accident. He practiced at Harris Hospital and Ft. Worth Cooks Children hospital in the 70's. The key to my survivor back then was getting my allergy under control. I had lost half my blood and had to rebuild my own blood back. (O+) I am a college graduate and stay constantly concerned about keeping our government and public out of harms way such as with groups such as ISIS AND BOKO HARAM. I am also a victim of child abuse, racism, terrorist, and gangs. But I still stay strong with the lord....I am also a PRIOR US ARMY VETERAN WITH A SECRET CLEARANCE who has supported our secret service people in the White House. I appreciate Dr. Herman Rose-- if in fact he remembers me in 75....

The over all experience from beginning to end was wonderful. The only thing that wasn't was the night I had to stay in the hospital following my surgery, the night nurse could have been better. My mother stayed with me through the night, but we had to call the night nurse several times to let me up to use the restroom. All he did was unhook the cords and leave, and I wasn't supposed to walk on my own yet, so my mom had to help me in and out of bed and finally she got ohm to show her how to do the things for my legs. The day nurses were great, everything else was great.

My overall experience at KBI has been exceptional. The staff and doctors are attentive and provide patient based care. Occasionally they even put up with my ranting. The support at KBI goes way beyond the office visits too! KBI has taken to Facebook and created an on the go everyday online support group made up of KBI patients only whether you are needing encouragement , a workout buddy , something fun to do , or emotional/mental support . If you are in the market for a life changing weight loss experience look no further than Kim Bariatric Institute!

Staff is ALWAYS friendly and extremely helpful. They have answered questions and have made me feel at ease. I was very nervous having this surgery, but they have made this a pleasant experience. The doctor sat and was honest with me, because initially he would not perform surgery. It was not safe due to my medical history. I appreciate the time that he took with me. It wasn't what I wanted to hear, but it was what I NEEDED to hear! I will be forever grateful for that!

Really enjoy the one on one time that the staff gives you. If you have questions, just ask. The staff are more than happy to help you understand your struggles and help you through your journey. The biggest lesson that I feel that I have learned it that I now understand my body in how it responds to water and food. Understanding the basics and believing the basics one day at time and results will happen. Thanks you !!!

Every visit is awesome, they are very quick and very thorough. I love coming to Dr. Kim, even after surgery the staff is super friendly and courteous! I have lost 62 lbs since I started the process and I am only 1 month post op! I have a long way to go but Dr. Kim and his staff have made me feel confident the whole way. This was the best decision I have made regarding my health.

Very professional before and during surgery. the after care went well. maybe a little more follow up and probing up later could be done, it takes mental preparedness and time to adjust. 5 months after, I still feel a little in recovery and still figuring how to adjust meal plans, supplements, exercise and daily routines. But now down to my ideal weight !

Tips & Advices
An osteopathic physician practices a comprehensive form of medicine that takes a holistic approach to a person's health. Instead of specializing in one system or set of organs, an osteopathic specialist focuses on the health of the total body. This includes evaluating environmental factors that affect a person's well-being.
Many family doctors deliver babies, especially in rural areas without a nearby OB/GYN. However, most family doctors only deliver for low-risk pregnancies and do not perform cesarean sections.
Family nurse practitioners are highly educated nurses able to provide medical care individually or with the assistance of another professional. Family nurse practitioners obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then take the National Council Licensure Examination to begin working as a registered nurse. Then, they continue their education and obtain a Master of Science in Nursing. Following that, they become certified in family practice via the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, allowing them to become certified family nurse practitioners.
Some family doctors provide immunizations while others do not. Typically, doctors who work as part of a large practice are more likely to offer vaccines in-house. Doctors in offices of one to two physicians are more likely to refer patients to a public health department or other immunization provider.
A physician's assistant is a person qualified to perform routine medical services. This individual is professionally licensed and certified, but they may not have the extensive med school education of a doctor. That said, PAs do complete almost three years of postgraduate study and more than 2,000 hours of rotations.
