  • Worst pet store imaginable

I visited Noah's Ark Pet store and was thoroughly disgusted in every way. The staff that i talked to were some of the worst I have ever seen. The troubling thing to me, is they don't even know they are terrible. They actually think they know what they are doing! *sigh*

They sell puppies and kittens, and they are kept in deplorably bad conditions. Why are they in business????

I have been a loyal Noah's Ark customer for over 11 years and I will continue to be. Those of us that are loyal customers know that Jim (the store owner) would never tolerate such poor conditions and attitudes in his store. This is why I am asking you to take another look. In the past few months I have noticed some incredible changes in the store. The first being Jim himself has taken over the store again, and he has hired wonderful new staff that are actually very friendly and very willing to help with all my animal needs. The second is the store has been cleaned up a lot and I have seen the new manager and staff, painting, mopping, dusting, etc ... The Animals appeared to me to be properly housed and all had food and water. Please take another look !!

  • Sad and disgusted

I visited Noahs Ark Pet Center in search of reptiles and found that I was shocked at the filth of this store. There was no such thing as "customer Service" not one employee greeted me as I looked around. I had intentions on getting some guidance on some reptiles I was interested in but after seeing the conditions and the housing for their reptiles I was totally turned off. Different species of snakes(Large ball python and a small red tail boa) were housed in the same small tank together, geckos were sitting in their own feces that had piled up over a long period of time and had not been cleaned, other geckos had paper towels as substrate that had mold and mildew covering the paper. The reptiles looked sickly and most water bowls were dry. Their small animals were overcrowded in cages that again were piled and layered with feces and urine. And there were 2 dead dwarf hamsters in one of the cages and when I finally found an employee and told her she said "Oh, that makes 3 dead in the last hour" Pet stores can be great, but ones like this ruin peoples view on pet stores in general. I will never step foot in there again. I would definately not reccomend this particular store to anyone. This has ruined their name as far as far as I am concerned.
