Taylor Plumbing
Work done was above and beyond what we had expected. Friendly knowledgeable staff who waist no time getting the job done at a reasonable price. If you need any plumbing work done, this is the company to contact.

McKinney Plumbing
Never use this plumber. They totally overcharged for 25 minutes of work which they did wrong! When the owner came to make it right, he did so but his attitude was horrible. Stay away!!

McKinney Plumbing
These guys were great! I had a whole house repipe. They showed up right on time. I asked around to other plumbers and friends and found out I paid well under the average price. Austin and Chris were so nice and professional. You could tell they know what they are doing. They kept me informed all the way through the process. I had 1 small problem the next day and they came right out and took care of it at no extra charge. I would highly recommend them if you need a good plumber!

Al's Best Plumbing Inc
Al has worked in our home several times. He has installed toilets, vanities, added plumbing for a new bathroom and washer, which included tying into the existing waste pipe. Al also did all the plumbing work during a major renovation of our bathroom and kitchen when we had water damage. Al's workmanship is the best, and over 3 years later we have not had a single issue with any of his work, which is extensive. Al is the most dependable, reliable, courteous, friendly and trustworthy plumbing contractor who's ever worked in our home. Al shows up on time and completes the work with excellent results. His rates are extremely fair, and you pay exactly what was quoted. On a scale of 1 to 10, we overwhelmingly give Al a "10". We endorse Al, and recommend him to family and friends. I'm writing the review only now, some 3 years later, because I misplaced his business card, and had to look him up on the internet. When I saw his listing, and I had the opportunity to write a review, I wrote one. We're contacting Al now to ask him to add hook ups for a new washer.

I don't know who wrote the other reviews for this guy, but they must be fake. This guy overcharges for plumbing work. In addition, he'll make an appointment and never show up! AVOID!
Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
