Murphy's Ale House
The food was tasty once they got it correct. I ordered straight from the menu and didn t change anything and they got it wrong. So they took it back and brought it out 10 minutes later with just the bun changed to correct it. Everything else was the same only the zapped the whole plate, pickle too, and brought that out now mushy. Plus, they upcharged us for the fries, which were now bad thanks to their error. NOT handicap friendly. Only have 1 handicap parking spot and no tables for wheelchairs. To get to the bars or outside, its at least 2 steps. Also the front doors don t let wheelchairs in because the lip to the door is inches to high. A lady who happened to be leaving had to help us in by holding a door and help to lift and push the wheelchair, as employees just stood around watching. The sandwich was tasty when it came out correct, but it took over 2 hours just for a burger. The waitress was nice, but spread out because we had the only table in the area due to a wheelchair.

Touch Supper Club
Free sushi 5-7, not 4-8I went to this place in the heart of Ohio City -- not the nicest part of town in the first place -- because I saw an ad in the Plain Dealer's Friday! section about free-sushi Fridays at Touch from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. We arrived just after 7 p.m. and were told that the times were invalid and that flyers were still circulating around town about the incorrect time frame. When I told the guy at the bar that I had seen the time in the PD, he didn't even offer to honor it. Shame, because the place looks kind of cool (not nice, per se), and may even have good food, but we wouldn't know, because we walked out after that.

Parkview Nite Club
This is the benchmark of a great place for a drink, food, live music and atmosphere of Cleveland, Call them to find out when they are playing live music, Wed and Sat I know rock.. Have Hammond organ that can really bring the house down with Jazz. Lots of musicians stroll in and out on Jazz nights. If you can't have a good time there forget it.. Skip the RR Hall of Fame and see the real thing . Rock / Jazz / Reggae / Got to have some of their deep fried Asparagus ! Can be addicted to it...The place is popular so it can become crowded on live band nights, get there early...Old Young and in between are there for the music and food !

Winking Lizard Tavern
After arriving and being seated in my party of four around 10:30 p.m., we had to wait close to an hour just to get an appetizer, which we never did receive! Food was pretty good, but the speed of service and attentiveness was just terrible. They weren't even THAT busy. It's not like there was a Tribe or Cavs or Browns game that night, just the Night Nation Run race. If it were up to me, I would have walked out. If it's a choice between this location and the one at 1301 East 9th Street in Cleveland, Ohio, go to the one on East 9th, which is nicer, anyway.

Bricco
This is a very good Italian restaurant. Prices are a little on the high side but customers receive nice size portions. I had the veal parmesan at $13, and I though it was delicious. This is not your typical Italian restaurant its way better. The restaurant was very clean along with a warming atmosphere. The only downside to this place is that there were not that many items on the menu to choose from. Overall it was very good. If I am ever up in Cleveland again, I will pay Briccos a visit for dinner.

XO Prime Steaks
WOW. 2nd date with a special lady went very well at XO! It was a pricey night out, but mission accomplished. We had the calamari and crab cake appetizers. For main course we each ordered a steak (superb) and on the waiter's (Tommy) recommendation, we split a HUGE lobster tail that they had on special. This tail was easily 5 inches wide and 10 inches long. I think this lobster was on steroids. Have been to XO before and after I pay down my credit card balance from this meal, I will be back. LOL

Senor Tequilas Mexiacan Grill & Cantina
The freshest tacos, rice and beans you'll ever eat. So delicious! I work near this restaurant and walked by it several times before I decided to try it. Ordered two tacos with shredded chicken, came with the rice and beans, plus the chips n salsa all for 9.00. Not to mention the attractive lady working there. Definitely go and try this. **I would try this during the day/afternoon. Shaker Sqaure is close to a bad area..... BE WARE dont park your car any where in the rear lots..

Clifton Martini & Wine Bar
Good food. Poor service.. Party of five Saturday night appetizers served along with meal rather than before. Steaks and pork chops served with no steak knives Watery onion soup . Major chip on water glass which had to be replaced. Live in the neighborhood and have eaten here numerous times and service is consistent ly poor. Will be hesitant to take my guests back. Food two stars. Service no stars.

Leather Stallion Saloon
New Owner who is dedicated to returning this establishment back to a GREAT PLACE for drinks and meeting people. The bartenders are friendly and cute, sexy as hell. Pool table and back Patio along with a third bar midway between the main bar and the Patio bar. Try it..I'm sure it will become one of your favorite bars in the Cleveland Ohio area.
Tips & Advices
If there is ever a dispute regarding payment over the course of the project, a contractor or subcontractor could place a payment claim, or lien, on your property. To avoid this, ask the contractor to sign a lien release, which is a legal agreement that states that any payment accepted is final. This can come in handy if a contractor has his or her own payment issues with their subcontractors. Signing a lien release form certifies that any payment made by a client to the contractor is enough to pay for any goods or services rendered.
Absolutely ask. Paying too much up front offers the homeowner minimal leverage if the quality of work does not meet expectations or contractual specifications. Try to establish a reasonable pay schedule, such as paying 10 percent of the total cost for each 10 percent of the work that is completed. Include this payment plan in the contract, as well.
Before any money changes hands, there should be a contract to sign. Make sure the specifics of the work and all costs are listed in the contract, including details. If you forget to have something included in the contract after signing it, there's rarely a chance of recourse.
Ask the contractor for proof of their certification before signing anything, as well as their proof of insurance. You should also check your homeowners insurance policy to see if they offer coverage for contracted work. You may want to call your insurance provider and ask for more details on what your plan will and won't cover.
Yes. Plans for how the work site will be cleaned at the end of each day as well as at the conclusion of work need to be put in writing. An experienced general contractor should make every effort to keep the workspace clean and prevent dirtying or damaging any other area. Even so, talk with the contractor about the daily schedule, the logistics of transporting workers and equipment, and how cleanup will be handled.

Just a moment...
