Fish Furniture
Amazing service!! I live 2,000 miles away. My daughter arrived in the Cleveland area a few days ago, for school, and needed twin bed rails. I emailed a number of stores in the area, and within minutes received a response from Dan Geller, the owner of Fish Furniture. He said he had what I needed, just a few dollars, and if my daughter came in, he would show her how to set it up. He said he and his wife were going to dinner that evening near the area where my daughter's apartment was located, and if I wanted, he and his wife would personally deliver the bed frame to her apartment. But my daughter went in, he showed her how to set it up, helped her load it into her little car, then showed her a map of the area and where she could find the other things she needed. She called me and was totally amazed at his kindness, and the kindness of his staff. Then, the truly wonderful part---she got to her apartment and locked her keys in her car. Dan was the only person I "knew" in Cleveland, and so I called him, and he told me exactly who to call and what to do. For an anxious father 2,000 miles away, how can I say "thank you" enough to a businessman who would do so much to assist on the basis of such a tiny sale. I wish I could publish this to the whole Cleveland area. People ought to be standing in line to patronize a business with such good people. Thank you Dan Geller and all the folks at Fish Furniture! /ss/ Robert M

Diana's Hair Care Center
I have known Diana since the 4th grade, but I was a year older so we didn't hang together growing up. My wife started getting her hair done by Diana just before we got married, so I started going to her for haircuts then (28 years ago). When you go to Diana's you are greeted like you are one of her large family of friends. You can enjoy a cup of coffeewhile you wait for your turn, which is never all that long. She'll do a good job on your hair and you'l be out the door in no time with a great haircut or style job at a reasonable cost. I am notoriously tight with my money. But when my wife gets her hair done, at least it doesn't hurt the wallet like it would have if she had gone to one of those fancy named places. So if your looking for a new place to get your hair done at a reasonable price, check out Diana's Hair Care -I don't think you will be disapointed.

Fish Furniture
I bought a bedroom set at Fish Furniture in Mayfield Hts 20+ years ago which had a headboard and a footboard.. We just converted the bed from full to queen size and discovered that the side rails could be expanded to accommodate the width but not the length. Instant headache right? The answer was no....I called Fish Furniture and spoke with Dan Geller. Dan was completely understanding and made several phone calls for me. Later that day he called back and was able to get me all the necessary items I needed. I can't say enough about Mr. Geller and Fish Furniture! I thought I was going to have to go out and buy a regular bed frame (which wouldn't accommodate my footboard) and pay 150.00 and not be satisfied. Mr. Geller will get my repeat business undoubtedly. What a great experience and welcome outcome!

Severance Restaurant
The restaurant inside Severance Hall is now known as Sammy's. Apparently, since it caters to a crowd that arrives an hour or two before each orchestra performance, (all at once) the all-inclusive buffet format is logical. The buffet is $40 and includes an appetizer, salad, several entree items, as well as coffee and GOOD desserts. This past week was my 2nd time dining there and the service staff is good, the atmosphere is nice and I liked that my aunt (a vegetarian) was even satisfied with the food options. The only downsides are that customer traffic is moving past your table to and from the buffet alot and there was only (1) appetizer offering on my last visit, a creamy seafood soup, which I typically don't eat on my new diet. (it looked good though!)

Sweet Moses
Like walking back in time to the 1940s or 1950s, it's sort of like a hipster-Mitchell's Ice Cream. Definitely a cool place to satisfy your sweet tooth with your sweetie! MUCH better than the one they installed at Progressive Field, where the line is too long, the prices are inflated, and the selections are minimal. At THIS location, you at least get better ambiance. The ice cream is divine, though they do have old-time candy and some interesting sandwich selections, like their PB&J. I'm always a sucker for their coffee ice cream or salted-caramel ice cream but will have to try their malts the next time we go.

Fish Furniture is very nice store - family owned and operated 88 years in business ! They're oriented on customer needs, Instead of company policies and rules ... They have great people + outstanding customer service !!! We came for 1st time with furniture problem from other store, It's not even their store Issue, but owner Dan Geller and his assistant Jim Simcox did great job and took great care of us, as customers, as well as solved our problem ! super nice guys working their - no wonder why they so long in business ! we can't be more happier people and customers ! Fish Furniture
My husband and I went to Fish Furniture in Mayfield to shop for a mattress and a bedroom set for our 4 year old son.Kitty waited on us and was a pleasure to deal with. We decided on a very nice Stearns and Foster mattress, which we LOVE, and a Young America bedroom suite.I looked at several different furniture stores before entering Fish and found that they have the most reasonable prices and a wonderful selection. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they have FREE DELIVERY!!! Overall, a very good experience and I would highly recommend Fish to anyone that is looking for REAL furniture.

Gentile's Bakery - Deli - Catering
The food is very good, the bakery is very good BUT horrible service. I went almost daily when I first "discovered" Gentile's but I rarely go on my lunch hour anymore due to the terrible service. I was there today and as always had to wait to be serviced. There was one girl behind bakery counter waiting on a customer and there were several employees in kichen area while I waited and waited and waited! I was never even acknowledged until someone in the kitchen noticed me and finally came out to help me! Even when I call ahead the service isn't very good.

Alfonso's Italian Restaurant
Did the catering for my wedding. The food was amazing but the wait staff wasn't the best experience. I understand that I'm the boss of what is going on by being the bride, but at my reception I shouldn't have to worry about things and be the one calling on them to get things done, Not at the reception. I'm not happy with the service that was given, but I do want to let everyone know that the food is certainly amazing, don't think I hated everything, I just gave it two stars for the frustration of the situation.

Fish Furniture
I bought a flexsteel recliner from Fish furniture seven years ago. I live in this thing, and unfortunately it broke during super bowl sunday :( Wife was happy, I wasn't... I called the team over at Fish and even though the warranty was up , they still sent out their service man Bob and he found a problem with the mechanism. He ordered the new part, came out and replaced it, then told me that I owed NOTHING! This kind of service needs to be raved about and I can't thank Fish enough. Definitely buying from again!!!

Just a moment...
