Cafe Miami
Never even made it in. owner was so rude on phone. was looking for a mom and pop coffeehouse in the neighborhood b/c I didn't want to patronize corporate like Starbucks etc. I got number out of yellow pages. He said he was a cafe on phone. That doesn't mean anything to me. I then asked for clarification, like if he was LIKE Starbucks. That question offended him so much, he hung up on me. I called back and asked him to let me re ask my question a different way, but he just wasn't having any of it. I'm not sure what kind of customers he wants, or what he's doing over there, but he won't be in business long. I"ve worked at the corporate stores, and they make you be polite to people. As much as I and everyone hates corporat,e, homogenized, bland America, truth of the matter is 75% of small business doesn't have what it takes to be in biz. that's one reason why corporate will often be the only choice.

Pasha Cafe
DO NOT GO HERE! HORRID CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BAD BUSINESS!!I decided to try this place out for the first on my lunch break on Saturday, since I literally see it everyday at the bus stop and its walking distance from where I work. When I got there at about 12:08 the doors were locked, so I called and let them know that they were open. When I got into the place the lady behind the counter was very nice I placed my order and she went over to start making it, before I even finished ordering but she was nice so I didn't mind. She let me know that they haven't turned the grill on yet and it needs 10 mins to heat up and asked me if I had time. I said no not really I only get 30 mins for lunch but she insisted she'd be fast. She went to the back where I'm guessing the cooler was and told who I'm assuming the owner or at least someone above her, a tall man with a middle eastern accent, she needed a gyro. He started raised his voice at her saying 'it's going be at least 15 mins' and 'they have to change the oil'. So I ask him 'so what do you have available?' He raised his voice at me and says 'NOTHING!' while giving me a "shoo fly" gesture toward the door and trying to explain he hasn't changed the oil, etc. At this point, even if I could eat there I wasn't going to. So I said 'you know you're supposed to do this stuff before you open right?' He came to the front where I was standing because he couldn't hear me and I repeated myself, then he says 'we open at 12' and I say 'yeah it's 12:15'. Then he raises he voice again and says with an attitude 'what! We're working!' while jumping toward me with his hands up like he's ready to fight or something. I was literally taken aback, if this is how he talks to his first customer of the day whom is willing to spend their money on WHATEVER they had available, then I can understand why he felt he had all the time in the world to prepare the food, because this place is ALWAYS slow. Clearly you were not working because you are a RESTAURANT that prioritizes flat screen TVs over the FOOD and the CUSTOMERS willing to pay for it! Before he could turn back and scold his employee again I walked out in hopes that he would spare her his HORRIBLE ATTITUDE and UNPROFESSIONALISM. She apologized, he just walked back to the back. Incredibly RUDE, I never once raised my voice or got an attitude, he seriously made me feel like I was doing something wrong because I wanted food in a restaurant. Not only did I leave UNHAPPY, HUNGRY and OFFENDED, I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I wish I could review the food but they didn't have any! If I could give this place 0 stars I would.
