Super nice people, super awesome furniture, and they love animals! What more could you ask for? Oh yea, way cool antiques. If you love art and chic furniture, this is for you! No stuffiness here :-) Did I mention how nice they are, and how great of a deal they gave me? I got an adorable dog like my little Henry, and the proceeds went to the shelter. You get cool things and help animals too! :-)

Hejduk refinishing is the absolute best! I own an antique bedroom set from the 1930s made of walnut, wavy maple, and carved detailing. I was nervous about giving them up for repair, but the pieces needed refinishing in the worst way. Hejduk made my set brand new again! They took oil and water damage out of the tops of my dresser and chest of drawers; recreated two sections of carved arabesques so that the repairs were invisible; resealed the sides of two pieces that had been dried out by sun; patched chipped veneers on the bed so that they looked perfect; and selected a satin finish for all the pieces in line with the set’s original finish – something I had never even considered. What is more, Hejduk’s pricing was very reasonable, and they offer pickup and dropoff (something of a rarity in this business, it seems.) In fact, when my refinished pieces were delivered, they were carefully wrapped in moving blankets and plastic. One last note: I did have to wait a month for Hejduk to refinish my pieces, because the company was very busy with other clients. However, I appreciate that they didn’t take my furniture until their shop had an opening. Once that happened, they got my entire set back to me in 4 days. I wholeheartedly recommend Hejduk.

My Wife and I were there in early June of 2014. We found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable. We purchased several items, two pocket watches, a Seth Thomas mantle clock and a waterfall armoire. The owner helped me with the armoire, due to my bad back! He followed us to our residence that was around the corner and helped bringing inside our home! Five stars for service and knowledge! Thank you so very much! We will frequent their antique shop!

Unique Wood Products has been designing wood products of all kinds primarily for the home since 1983. After 30 years of contracting in all the trades, we didn't want to retire yet ....... so we put our many talents to good use. We started a repair shop in 1983 which has grown into a multi-faceted entity. We have an upholsterer of 38 years experience working with us and a person who handles all of our caning and rushing. The original owners continue to make the furniture and refinish it, plus take care of all of the welding.

I love this place, along with Flower Child it's one of the two best second-hand shops in all of northeastern Ohio. Sometimes the prices are high, my sole complaint, but you can find anything you're looking for from the twentieth century and beyond: appliances, books, clothing and accesories, furniture, on and on and on. It's large enough to comfortably shop while not being overwhelming, and forgoes the filth and overall dustiness usually synonymous with thrift stores. The owner always seems to remember me whenever I go in and, even if she doesn't actually know me, she is enthusiatically polite and welcoming. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
