they came out to repair my water heater. When I called the first time they said my parts were covered under warranty and I told them the error code I had on the unit and told them it needed a fan assembly. They came out and charged me time and for a diagnosis which I had already given them and ordered the part. They replaced the part about a week later and it still didn't work. Now it needed a mother board & a wire assembly. When they went to order the new parts they said it was a mistake and my parts weren't covered under warranty. I would not have started working on this had I known in the beginning. I then called Rinnai myself and they were very nice and agreed to sell me the parts I needed at a fair price due to the error. When I called Sals back with this info, Sals told me they could not put the parts in without upcharging me for them as that's how they make their money. I said if the parts are under warranty or Rinanni is taking care of them for me, why would they upcharge me. Sals labor for one hour is 90.00 which I had no problem paying ( and this is on top of the 200 I already paid them for the previous times they came out) They would not put the part in for just the labor cost. I could not believe what I was hearing. Choose a heating and cooling place you can trust. I still can't believe they are not finishing the job they started!!

Interstate Kitchen Supply
We purchased a GE Cafe refrigerator from Interstate Kitchen Supply 2 years ago. Recently we noticed water collection on the bottom floor of the refrigerator. The technician found the reason, the drain pan was substantially rusted and corroded which created a hole that leaked the water. This is a considerable defficiency for only 2 years old refrigerator. We wanted to pass this problem to a heigher level GE official to express our great disappointment of the GE products. We send email and GE called us back and to our shock they said the refrigerator is manufactured in 2008 which we were not aware of till now. The sales person at the store did not disclose the fact that she is selling us a 6 years old refrigerator, so according to GE this rust and corrosion could have started in that store long before it was delivered to our house. We are still looking for an explanation for such a defficiency which is a health hazardhas. Our recent findings suggests that this deficiency has been detected by several other customers. Thanks to the store representative of interstate kitchen supply, she has been helpful and cooperative to share with us the extent of this problem. She claimed that the store was not aware of the refrigerator shelf life and she took responsibility of replacing it.

I had two leaks in my master bedroom shower leaking into the garage and my son's shower was leaking into the family room. My master bed room shower was all tile, floor to ceiling with glass block windows on one side surrounded by green marble tile. I got multiple estimates and all advised entire master bedroom shower needed to be ripped out completely down to the studs and redone from scratch. Severally plumbers had suggested my son's shower needed to be taken out as well. I decided to go with Sal's Heating and Cooling to not only fix the leaks but to remodel the bathroom and family room. What a great job they did. Very punctual every day arriving between 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., and worked most days until 5:00 p.m. This was a big several week job requiring drywall, painting and tile work in addition to fixing the plumbing leaks. I am very pleased with the professional looking result and would recommend them without reservation to not only do your plumbing but bathroom remodeling as well. They also fixed a couple of unrelated items while they were there without complaint. Great job guys! Thanks.

Total Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning Inc
I tried to schedule an appointment to fix my furnace and the gentleman who answered the phone was so rude and condescending to me. He didn't want my business and profiled me as a dumb-housewife when we're actually a company. Do not call this business.

Brooklyn Heating & Air Conditioning
Rocky could have just come out, checked the boiler and left.  Instead he evaluated the whole placement, the air flow for the unit, and fire safety.   He could have assumed I knew all about the boiler and the issues and not said anything, but he educated me.  I am very grateful to have found Brooklyn Heating & A/C! I highly recommend giving Brooklyn a call to service your furnace or boiler.
Tips & Advices
You can keep your air conditioner running efficiently with some preventative care measures. Shut off the power to your AC before cleaning it or performing any of these tasks:  clean your filter at least twice a year; remove leaves and twigs from cages; clean the fins with a garden hose or special spray, then use a butter knife to straighten any that are crooked; keep your yard clean so the fins won't get blocked; cover the unit up for winter; and make sure it's level or you run the risk of damaging the inner workings of the unit.
To clean your air conditioner drain, first shut off the power to your unit at both the thermostat and the breaker. Then remove the drain pan. If the pan is full of water, soak up the liquid with a few towels or rags or use a wet vacuum. You can use a solution of water and distilled vinegar, or substitute peroxide for the vinegar, to clean out the drain pipe. Let the pipe sit for a while in the solution and then put all the parts back in place. Once you start using your air conditioner on a regular basis, check it periodically to ensure condensation isn't building up.
If you happen to live in a hot and humid area of the country, drainage problems can occur with your unit since moisture can trap itself inside the system. Routine maintenance can cut down on drainage issues by cleaning out any mold or algae from blocking the drain. If you notice moldy smells whenever you turn the thermostat down, check on your system.
If you notice your system is acting inconsistently, the sensor is most likely out of place. Turn off the unit and reach behind its control panel while carefully bending the sensor back into place near the evaporative coil.
Find out where the noises are coming from. A banging or clanking sound could be due to a loose part. If you hear a hissing sound, it's most likely because of a refrigerant leak and you should contact an HVAC technician as soon as possible.
