The Goddard School
My daughter attends the Laurel Springs location. My husband and I absolutely love the school, everyone is so friendly and always makes us feel welcome. As we are first time parents we had no idea of what to expect, and you always hear the horror stories. Our daughter is always happy when we pick her up and we love getting pictures emailed to us! We can't say enough good things about this school. If you want to take your child to a place that lets you leave without knots in your stomach, this is the place to go. We have had such a great experience and am so grateful we chose this school for her.

The Goddard School
We love The Goddard School! My son started a few months ago in the Silly Surfers Room. We meet the teachers who were so very warm and welcoming! That made me feel less afraid leaving him all day. I am so impressed with the level of education he is receiving! As well as how much fun he is having with his friends and teachers! I would recommend The Goddard School to anyone!

I love this school! Both of my children attend and I cant say enough about how great their experience has been. The staff is always professional and friendly and my children have learned so much in such a short period of time! Everyday my children look forward to coming to school and that is truly so important.

The Goddard School
I am very happy with my experience with The Goddard School. I was very nervous about leaving my 2-month old son with anyone and the staff has been wonderful in trying to make me comfortable and allowing me to check in and ask a million different questions.

Tips & Advices
Home insurance typically doesn’t cover mold inspection--mold remediation overall is a category that homeowner insurance rarely covers. If caused by a “specified peril” such as a burst pipe, household appliance overflow or flood, the insurance will cover expenses related to mold remediation.
Yes, mold can be dangerous to human health. The types of mold that can cause harm to humans are allergenic mold and the black mold strain called stachybotrys atra. Certain black molds produce toxins, and can be hazardous to respiratory health. There are types of green mold that cause allergic reactions in some people that can be as severe as black mold sickness.
Mold testing begins with a visual inspection, that is performed with specialized equipment, such as thermal imaging cameras. Once the top problem spots are identified, the mold specialist will get an air sample in the most problematic zone, and compare it to an air sample from fresh outdoor air. Follow-up tests--either more air samples or surface swab analyses--cost extra.
Black mold has become synonymous with toxic mold, but this is misleading. Black mold really just refers to the color of the mold, and there are many types of mold that present as black and are not toxic. The group called stachybotrys atra can produce mycotoxins, which are potentially quite dangerous to human respiratory systems.
A mold inspector should be called if you suspect there may be mold somewhere in the house, but you cannot find it on your own. It should also be called if mold is found, but it is difficult to assess what type it is.
