Doug's Used Cars
I have bought two cars from Dougs and while I have had some minor issues with the first one I bought and drove for more than two years I paid cash for that car and very pleased with it!!! When I decided that I wanted a newer vehicle Dougs was the first place I looked I found a car that I fell in love with and have had nothing but awesome service from Ruby, she is a wonderful person and always ask me when I make my payment how the car is doing as well as my family! Everyone is definitely entitled to their own opinion and mine is this when you buy a car as is that's what you get as is the place you get the car from is no longer responsible to repair or maintain that vehicle in any way it's the buyers responsibility so with that being said anything that they do to repair or maintain YOUR vehicle needs to be charged to your account with them and they are awesome to even let you pay that out bc most car dealers would be sorry about your luck!!! I feel very fortunate to have bought my vehicle from people that actually care about their customers and are willing to work with me if I am not able to make my payments they have every right to repo their car!!! Just my thoughts about it!!!

Rick's Automotive Inc & Wrecker Service
They no longer handle 20-22,00 pound, 36 foot EXPENSIVE, SENSITIVE, EASILY BROKEN class A motorhomes, but he knows all pitfalls I need to watch out for so it is not damaged further. The U joint and yoke was broken on my 1st tow by Miller Wrecking who claimed it was not their fault. They never mentioned that they take out the U joint and its yoke when undoing the driveshaft that must be undone! I did not know until today that the transmission can break on a long drive because it is not bathed in oil to cool it on the way. That it is a 20K fix if they break the fiberglass cap on the front windshield area. He knows what he is talking about and asked me to feel free to call if I needed more help. I have never seen anything better than that and it did not cost me a penny. THIS IS THE KIND OF GUY YOU LOOK FOR - HONEST, KNOWLEdGABLE, LITTLE BIT PERFECTIONIST SO EVERYTHING GOES RIGHT!!!!!I am an Occupational Therapist and take care of my patients that way too, so I love it in others when I am sure they are going to take good care of me when I am in over my head.

Cleburne Ford
This is an honest dealership with a down home country feeling. They aren't a big city operation, so you won't likely get the size service department that you might get from one of the large dealerships, but they remember you when you come in. They got the work done in a single day and even delivered the car back to me. I appreciated all the work they did to get my wife back on the road and will definitely buy my next car from them.

B & R Auto Sales
Bought a 1997 Silverado. Priced good. They go thru the vehicles with intent to sell a QUALITY product! ! Unlike some car lots... the warranty expires as soon as the car leaves the car lot!! B&R ensures the vehicle is in great condition.

Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
