J&D Moving and Relocation Services
I would give a great thumbs up to J&D Moving and Relocation! I had originally arranged my move with another company but things didn't work out as I expected, so I gave J&D a last minute call hoping they would accept the job. Not only did they accept it, but they were also on time, despite the fact that they had a tough move with the previous client that day. The guys are awesome. Friendly, cooperative and most importantly hard-working The poor guys were even exhausted by the heavy weights they had to lift but they remained cheerful until the job was finished! To top it off, they have good prices, without any hidden fees or extra costs. Keep up the good work!

J&D Moving and Relocation Services
Wonderful experience with this company! I wanted to schedule a morning move, because it is safer when you have to deal with delays and unpredictable work coming ahead. They showed up right on time at 8AM, and got to work right away. It took them 4 hours to get all the stuff out of our apartment and into their truck, and another 4 hours to get it over to the house.  They were extra careful with wrapping furniture, and nothing was scratched or nicked.  The guys were very friendly and polite, and a pleasure to work with. They were also one of the cheapest quotes I got, which is a major plus. Well spent money! They won't disappoint you.

DMAN Moving Labor
My experience with DMAN Moving was great! I needed two helpers on very short notice to unload a large moving van full of furniture and boxes and move them into a storage unit. Dennis at DMAN sent Ben and David - both of whom were *fantastic*! I've moved several times before and these two guys were a joy. Treated my stuff like it was theirs - sincerely - and even cleaned up afterward (collected random garbage like loose tape/plastic wrap, empty water bottles, etc). They were very polite and a had a great sense of humor. Dennis called me afterward to see how things went. ...This company is on its game - I highly recommend!

J&D Moving and Relocation Services
One thing I can say about these guys in J&D, is that they made my relocation to Florida an absolute breeze. First of all, the company provided me with a very reasonable quote, they handled my property with care and respect, and everyone involved in the moving process were great to deal with as well. Everything went just fine, no surprises, no accidents, and they finished half an hour before schedule. That gave us some extra time to rest and relax from the tension and stress. I liked their professionalism and would use them again, no doubt about it!

Clearwater Movers Inc
Clearwater Movers Inc has made my move a memorable one. They were truly professional and courteous. We had a lot to move over a long distance. We moved and needed a long distance moving company who could handle the load for a family of 6. The moving foreman came in, evaluated the situation, created a plan, began disassembling furniture that needed taken apart, placed tags on every item leaving the house, and made sure all of my family belongings were protected properly.

J&D Moving and Relocation Services
I used J&D three months ago for a local move. I pre-packed and pre-staged all my stuff from my 2- bedroom apartment and then waited for these guys to arrive. They arrived on time to prepare and as soon as everything was ready, they carried out the move really fast. Everything was handled very carefully and was in perfect condition when it reached its new home.Big thanks to the crew of J&D.

J&D Moving and Relocation Services
Given my past experience with moving companies, I was pleasantly surprised at J&D! Great movers! Highly efficient, careful and professional. I suggest that you are ready to go when they arrive, they start loading everything up as soon as they come in. Their prices are very good compared to other quotes I received for the same move. Very good service in overall, don't hesitate to hire them.

DMAN Moving Labor
We were moving to CO from FL and our scheduled movers did not show up. We hired these kind folks at the last minute. They came even though it was late and worked very hard to get our U-Haul loaded so we could be on the road the next day. Dennis and his crew stepped in and saved us from a really bad time and I would recommend this company to anyone at anytime.

J&D Moving and Relocation Services
These guys were terrific! We had to reschedule several times because of changed closing dates, and they were very flexible. Alex and Donald were very friendly young men, and they moved us in less than three hours for a VERY reasonable rate. We actually had some fun with them while moving. I would definitely call them again for moving services.

Clearwater Movers and Storage Inc
Just recently moved with Clearwater Moving and Storage Inc & I want to recommend them because they did an awesome job. I moved 3 times in my life & out of the 3 moving companies I used this was the BEST ONE!! I looked throughout the internet and this particular company stricked me as the best, after reading some happy stories.
Tips & Advices
Yes, it’s best to empty drawers, wardrobes and chests before a move. Items always get knocked around a bit, and doors can fly open even if they’ve been taped. In fact, more often than not, movers will want to remove the drawers from a dresser--or disassemble the wardrobe to be more space-efficient.
Yes, it is customary to tip movers, but the amount varies widely. For full-service moves, a 5 percent tip is suggested, although, for extra service, some people go up to 10 percent . For small local movers, you can give each mover $10 for a few-hour job, or $20-$40 for jobs that take longer.
A bill of lading is the legal contract for the move. It provides a detailed receipt, in addition to a contract between the client and the mover. It authorizes the mover to transport the goods from one specific point to another, and it outlines the exact scope of services, with cost breakdown for those services. It also provides an itemized list of the inventory, and carrier liability protection for each declared item. Finally, it specifies the payment arrangement. Make sure to go over your itemized list extremely carefully before finalizing the paperwork--and get a copy of the full document. A good mover will go over everything on the bill of lading with the customer.
There are several items that moving companies will not move – those items will be listed on a document as “non-allowables.” These items typically fall in three categories: perishables, sentimental/personal items, and hazardous material. Perishables are food and plants. Sentimental/personal value is up to the client to decide, but usually includes jewelry, medical and dental records, personal paperwork, valuables and collectibles. Hazardous material is the tricky category, since it includes a lot of everyday items found in the garage, garden or kitchen. For example, cleaning liquids and pesticides both are considered non-allowable by many companies. Some go so far as to disallow nail polish and batteries.
A binding estimate means that the moving company cannot charge more than the stated amount, though they can lower the final bill if the scope of the job was smaller than expected. A non-binding moving estimate is more likely to wind up costing more than expected, since the movers can increase their rates for unforeseen variables like stairs, “long carry” and materials.
