Mr Hookah Lounge
A Real Hookah Lounge – The more upscale Hookah lounge for the more upscale hookah smoker. Upon arriving here for the first time, I had no clue what laid behind the doors or what to expect. Upon entering I was more than pleasantly surprised. My first time coming, I came in the middle of the week on relatively non-busy night. The owner, David, was more than welcoming. I then noticed differences between the different hookah lounges I have been acquainted with. Normally there are two types of hookah lounges/bars:There is the teenage, loud hippie type lounge, cursing & immaturity & then there are the Arab type Hookah Lounges which are a hybrid of either a night club, belly dancer, Arabic music, with a hookah option, or a restaurant with the same features.THEN there is this type of Hookah lounge which is Mr. Hookah:The rules are clear and upfront which actually make it very unique. 1st, which I like, is the men’s dress code (and I’m a guy, however the ladies will appreciate it too): No flip flops, baggy clothing, sleeveless shirts, tank tops or hats). The 2nd is the music, the music ranges from blues, to Bob Marley, and other genres. This creates a balance of the mix of people to suit the type of person who wants to chit chat with friends or hang out alone and just enjoy a hookah. Interestingly enough, I cannot find anything offensive, even in the sense that it could be family friendly. I would say this establishment is a well-kept secret. David, tookme to the back and gave me a tour of the kitchen, types of tobacco, the freshness of his ingredients, and the coffee is excellent. However, there is no food served. He also taught me how to move the coals effectively across the hookah for the best flavor.

If you've never been able to use the words: mechanics, trust, quality, fair and accommodating in the same sentence....now you can! Peterson Auto & Truck has been taking care of my older model vehicle for two years. Whenever I have a car issue I try to educate myself to know what I'm in for.... Peterson's has never tried to pull one over on me, or up-sell me. I've always found them to be honest, provide great quality at a fair price and Kevin goes above and beyond to make your experience better than hoped for. Quality work, Trusted advice, Accommodating service & hours at Fair pricing....Peterson Auto & Truck has always exceeded my expectations....give 'em a try, I think you'll be glad you did!

Phoenix Wholesale Auto Services
I went to Phoenix Wholesale Auto Services LLC in Clearwater to get Troy to check a small engine sound. The radiator and overflow were empty. He was very knowledgeable and observant and found that the radiator cap was faulty and the water had been lost. I felt I was in the right place with him.He didn't try to sell me a new motor as some would. What with luck and the toughness of Toyota Camry's the car seems to be running great now and the engine sound has gone.He also hatted me very carefully on how to keep an eye on the situation to make sure the problem has been cured.it was a nice experience not a nightmare and I recommend Troy.Diane

Peterson Auto & Truck
I happen to work nearby Peterson's, so let me begin by promoting the fact that these guys give up to a 20% discount because of it..not too shabby, considering that most auto places want to charge MORE! I had my starter die on me a few months back..but these guys were great at making me get a little piece of mind. No tow charges at all, reasonable price & friendly service. I, unfortunately, had my alternator just die on me yesterday, but knew I could count on Peterson's to get me back on the road. My repair & oil change was completed first thing the next day. Not one single complaint AAAAAAA++- HANDS DOWN

Gun Slingers
Gunslingers, in Clearwater, on Ulmerton Rd (the old Tuscon’s building) has done a great job of remolding. They have amazing food. Staff is very friendly. Prices are compatible. Open at 11am. Three bars. No smoking dance club. But does have an open air, almost patio style bar for smokers. They also have a meeting room that is available for rent. Stop by and book your next party or business meeting with them. Tina Castle, Cute Cuts Pet grooming, www.cutecutstlc.com

Countryside Automotive
I own a BMW, I was getting tired of the outrageous repair bills at the dealer. I was referred to Chris at Countryside Automotive by a co worker who also owns a BMW. I had an estimate from the dealer for a brake job and he saved me hundreds of dollars, even using original parts. BMW people, stop going to the dealer and try this shop. They do great work and use the right parts for your BMW, and their pricing blows the dealer away

Peterson Auto & Truck
I found this shop on the web and I'm glad that I did. All the good reviews on here are the truth. The customer service is excellent. The job they did on my Cadillac was great and now I feel that all the places I went for service in the past including the dealership were just ripp offs. Peterson Auto & Truck takes care of business and I would recommend this auto shop to anyone who's looking for the best service in town.

Majick Eatz Inc
"Comfort Food at Comfortable Prices" says it all! This family-run restaurant is a real find. They use boars head meats, salsa is made from scratch - no bottle stuff here! Guacamole is made to order - can't get fresher than that! Great for brunch - super omlettes and french toast. Salads & Sandwiches are great! Desserts are homemade and OMG soooo good! Super value. Highly recommended.

Norton's Southside Sports Bar
Great pleace to go, good people, good service. Was worried about a friend I happen to know is a regular. Called and asked to talk to the bartender about their condition, was told pretty much they dont care about concern and they will serve anyone who drinks even if someone calls to prewarn them. Overall good bar but I got a response from the person on the phone that kind of bugged me.

Black Magic Wedge
When my buddy out west said that he came across the best sand wedges in the game when he was in town, I thought it’s another gimmick. He let me try them out when we were on the course and I was in real trouble. My lie was in thick rough and he insists I use his Black Magic iron. That one shot was enough to convince me. I replaced all my irons the very next week.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
