Jenkins and Wynne Ford Lincoln Honda
It was such a pleasure buying our Pre-Owned Subaru Outback from Jenkins and Wynne. Last month I stopped in to look at VW Passat TDI SE that they were selling and met our sales lady Jessica and her manager Rob. They were very nice and courteous. The thing is at that point, I really had not considered buying another car. I just stopped to look at the Passat. I did not feel pressured, nor did I feel on edge talking with them as I so often feel when I talk to car sales people. Jessica gave me her card and after my experience I decided to come back later. A month later I drove by and saw that they still have the VW. My wife and I love our TDI’s that we’ve had and was very interested in their TDI they had for sale. So I stopped again. I went in and Jessica was there again with a beaming smile and warm personality. As I talked with them, I was preparing for a test drive for the Passat and a saw a Pre-Owned Subaru Outback. I liked it at first sight. Jessica with her intuition saw that I liked it and got the keys to show me the SUV. Thinking it would be out of my price range I kind of disregarded the thought but she still offered to allow me to test drive it. As I drove it I began to like it more and more. Jessica was very informative and very knowledgeable of her cars. I was very impressed in her capabilities. As they appraised my 2014 Honda Civic, Rob, her used car manager came back with a very reasonable trade for either the Passat or Outback. Once we agreed to proceed to buy the Outback in comes J.J. who is the finance manger. J.J. was very warm and friendly who wanted to also find the right fit for our finance. She worked tirelessly to get the very best rate and the best bank to finance. As we closed the deal, she was very thorough making sure every detail was understood. She had all the paper work ready when we came to sign. Both Jessica and J.J. and all the staff went above and beyond our expectations. They made us feel that we were the most important customer. Our over all experience is excellent. Deborah and I would happily buy from Jenkins and Wynne again. If you are in the market for a vehicle, make sure you give Jenkins and Wynne an opportunity to serve you. We are glad we did! A big thanks to Jessica, J.J., and Rob! P.J. & Deborah Hicks, Hopkinsville, KY

Service Department Review: Came in to get my vehicle serviced for an oil change and tire rotation with a coupon. The coupon was mailed to my home it was for a discount on oil change and tire rotation together for regular oil I asked for Synthetic oil quote. The service department couldn’t get me an accurate quote due to not knowing how much oil I would need because they would have to check prices with the parts department. I guess it was too much of a hassle to get me an exact quote. Parts Department review: If you work on your vehicle I would like to let you know they do price match. I took in a quote from an online dealer which included shipping. They will price match the parts but will still charge shipping + Tax. Prices are way high compared to online dealers who not only have a local parts department but offer better prices to everyone across the nation. Joe it’s time to get competitive! Sales department: Walked in with a friend who was looking for a Tacoma ’12 and the sales guy states “all the options on the websites are not possible to get” He was saying if you wanted a particle TRD package with a color or even and Audio package combined it wasn't possible they could only get what was on lot. Totally wrong! Salesmen wanted to sale what was on lot and not help find a Tacoma at another dealer or get one custom from Toyota.Overall review is that people here are lazy or don’t know their job well. The only time I was happy is when they price matched my parts and needed it that day. But I still don’t use them if I don’t have to I order parts online because it’s less of a hassle.

Crain's Automotive
After having taken my vehicle to Affordable Automotive for an oil leak I was told the oil pan was "rusted" and needed replacing for approx $550. The day I went for the replacement the shop had closed permanently. I was referred to the COOP. I was given a quote of $1900. for rear main seal and a "dented, beat up oil pan" that needed replacing! Rusted and Dented were two red flags. Declined COOP. Contacted other mechanic shops who refused to give me their hourly rate and the number of hrs expected for repair on rear main seal. contacted Tony Kennedy @ Crain's on a another referral! Asked for hourly rate and number of hrs for repair. He provided answers to both questions without hesitation and a quote to boot. I took my truck to Tony. He was true to his word. It took longer than anticipated but...only because it was an older car. Was difficult to get it taken apart, labor intensive job. That was about 3 weeks ago. There is no evidence of further leaking. Didn't need the oil pan replaced, which I knew! I was charged to standard charge for that particular repair in this zip code, area. The staff was professional, and friendly. Great customer service all around. Capable mechanic service as well. Most importantly they are fair and honest with pricing! Thanks Bobbie and Tony especially. Happy Christmas

Small Car Enterprises
Took my Mercedes to this place because I heard good things about them from a colleague. My car was driving funny and running a little weak like I put some bad gas in the car. I pulled up and walked into an old kind of shop that was a little dusty and kinda rustic, and started talking to a guy named Rick or Rich I think which was very nice and he immediately asked one of the mechanics to come take a look. Bob the Mechanic came out to my car and listened for a minute to how it was running and then he asked how it was acting and took my car for a short drive. When he came back, he told me what he thought was going on and he asked if he could check a few things right fast so of course I said yes. After about 10-15 minutes Bob comes out and my car is running perfect again. He said it was a temporary fix but it would stay fixed long enough for them to get the part the next day. He also mentioned it could use a tune up because it clearly hadn't been done in a while so I brought my car back the next day and Bob fixed the problem and tuned it up for what a normal service would cost me at the dealership. I will never go back to the dealership and wait forever to be seen or wait a day to get my car back or get over charged just because they are the dealer. I am a small car customer for life.

Absolute Auto Repair and Transmission
***UPDATE BELOW***I spent all I had and was assured my transmission was fixed. Well after returning twice in less than 3 weeks after the initial service my car had to be towed home because the transmission went out. I will be contacting them as soon as they open on Monday because they sold me a bad transmission. If they get it right I'll gladly update with a new review but til then all I can say is I'm not happy and I don't have the time or money to waste on a issue like this. They were recommended to me and I trusted the owner Sean when he said he would do right by me. So far not so good. Monday will be my 2nd time having to get my vehicle towed there cause of transmission leakage and slipping. ***UPDATED REVIEW***Well after returning my van after I kept having leakage and slipping, Sean made sure they found out what was wrong with the transmission and found out that the transmission wasn't bad after all it was leaking from somewhere else. Albeit was very frustrating and inconvenient Sean did do his best to find out what was going on. He actually brought me back to my car personally. Bottom line the customer service was good and the price was reasonable for a replacement transmission. And I would consider using them possibly in the future.

T & B Automotive
Last week the battery died in my car. I purchased a new battery from a place on Fort Campbell and after the new battery was put in i had no internal power in my car. The place that i purchased the battery from told me that they didnt know what the problem was and told me that i could come back tomorrow and they would take a look. Well i wasnt pleased i just spent 150.00 dollars with them and i was leaving their shop with more issues. i researched the internet and tested the fuses in my car to try and figure out what exactly the problem was and saw that my 125 amp fuse was blown. I got online to napa auto parts ordered the fuse online and picked it up the next morning at 7am. The Napa autoparts guy was unable to put it on for me but went out of his way to make a call to TandB Automotive and told me that they would help me out and to ask for Tim. When i got there Tim was there i explained to him what i thought the problem was and he had me fixed up in minutes. Not only was the customer service great, but he did not charge me anything to put the fuse in. I am so grateful to them and will now be taking both of our vechles to T and B for maintenance and repairs when needed. AWESOME SERVICE!!!

Honest-1 Auto Care
After reading other reviews I had hopes that this could be my "go to" place as I get repairs done immediately and do the oil change on a timely manner. I called, gave the make and year of the car, explained that I had already run the self diagnostics built into the system, (some of us do know a bit about cars), had experienced the problem before as it is an older vehicle, and wanted to know if they could replace the resistor I identified and what the cost would be. Not having other trouble with the vehicle, but will be needing a battery and brakes soon, based on age and miles. The immediate response was that it was $51 for diagnostic to make sure it was the resistor. Why would anyone pay for diagnostics when the vehicle's built in codes have told you what you need? Won't be able to speak to their expertise or promptness, but don't consider professionalism to be high when you wish to rip off customers by charging for diagnostics that are not needed.

Jenkins and Wynne Ford Lincoln Honda
We have been very satisified with our service on our vehicles for the last 15 years or so. We had our 2014 edge in for oil change, etc. They told us our battery was not at full crank, so just watch it and if we had any trouble to bring it in. Everything was fine until the other morning when it would not start. My husband checked the battery and discovered there was no water in the cells of the battery. When we got to the dealership they informed us that the battery fluids were not checked when the vehicle was brought in for service. If we had known that we would of checked it ourselves. They check other fluids, why not the battery. We realize that not all batteries are serviceable but the ones that are that is one thing that should be checked. How long does it take to open up the cells and check the level of the water? We have always been extremely pleased with the service at Jenkins and Wynne, but this incident left a bad taste in our mouth.

Fort Campbell Auto Sales
I was just walking down the street in Fort Campbell when someone asked me do I need a ride somewhere. I said sure and I got a tour of Ft Campbell just like that. I then went with him to his car dealer just to stop by. I get there and a salesman named Marciano saw I didn't have a car. He gladly let me test drive any car I wanted in the lot. I took a couple out and I found the car I was most comfortable with. He then told me if I wanted to we could start the process of buying the car and me leaving with it the same day. I was curious and I had the money so I thought sure. Marciano helped me with getting an auto loan and car insurance in the same day! I got approved enough money where I didn't have to put down anything on the car. He helped me with the language of insurance companies and everything. He honestly made my first car buying experience very comfortable. If anyone is looking for a car please give Ft Campbell Autosales a chance

Fort Campbell Auto Sales
Whether you are buying your first car or want to trade in your car for an upgrade, Fort Campbell Auto Sales can definitely help you out. Fort Campbell is a town that is notorious for targeting military to buy cars that either don't run well or that they know the soldier can't afford. Diego (the owner) is always honest and straight up with everyone and cares more about the soldiers well being than making the sale. He will tell you if it's not in your best interest to buy or trade for any reason. There is never any pressure to buy which I think is one of the best qualities of this place. I've purchased from him twice now and have never had any car troubles but I know if I did they would do everything they could to help out despite me not having a warranty. They have everything from BMWs to Camaros to motorcycles and are constantly getting new inventory. I eventually plan on buying a motorcycle and there is no doubt I will come here.
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
