My grand-daughter and I stopped by to browse. We happened to be in the area and were thinking about getting a vehicle to use for road trips. When we pulled in Anna Broadhurst was incredibly helpful in determining what criteria we needed in a vehicle. She showed us a couple of excellent matches to our needs. We then went to do some other errands and we checked with some other dealerships. After discussing it we were torn between the one Anna showed us and one at the Ford dealership that cost less, but did not have everything that we wanted. We came back for a test drive and my grand-daughter loved it!! Mike Moorman helped get the price down a bit so that it was more in line with my budget for this vehicle and was very helpful getting all of the paperwork through. We never thought heading out this morning that we would have a new road trip car (in which NO ONE will be squooshed), but thanks to Anna and Mike, we have one that we think we will love!!!

Everyone at this establishment was top notch! Anna Broadhurst is the perfect sales rep. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly without being the least bit "pushy" or overbearing. Her sincerity set us at ease from the moment she greeted us when we stepped out of our vehicle. Her trustworthiness was palpable. General manager Mike made us feel as though he were an old neighbor. His humor and warm personality, his helpful negotiating skills made our visit a pleasure. Don Skaggs was efficient and explained things well, and Gary did a great "spit shine" on our vehicle so well and in such a timely fashion there was no wait before we left. Mr. Slone was working diligently and affable and available to us. Super experience. We will recommend and return in the future! Thank you!

From the minute we walked onto the dealership lot we were greeted with a customer service experience that exceeded any of our past dealings with car lots. ANNA BROADHURST- has the perfect approach, humble, kind, servants heart. She has made the whole experience a pleasure! Mike Morman approached us with a "we are gonna get it done for you guys" attitude. When we explained to him our financial issues as far as putting more money down- he was very understanding and got us the deal for the price we could afford. Danny Skaggs helped us as well getting the right bank to pick up our loan. All three of the individuals we worked with were down to earth and professional. (real people) Not your typical car lot!! Great Experience! Thanks :) Brian

I was a repeat customer of Kia of Clarksville Indiana. Kia had received my bussiness on not one but two brand new vehicle purchases in five years. Upon my return to trade in a vehicle purchased from them being a 2015 Kia Sorento 47,000 miles the offer presented to me was insulting, so I stoped in at Don Slones and my experience was no pressure of any kind and I felt that when I purchased my 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan I left feeling valued as a customer and not just as a retail profit customer, The deal I received at Slone automotive Saved me thousands of dollars. Jeremy made the buying experience easier and different from any purchase I have ever made.

Used Tire Warehouse
Our belt broke in our tire heading from Spencer IN going to Huntsville AL on the Sunday before Christmas. He didn't have to open his doors and help us but he did and god bless him for that. After he took it off , the tire had a open crack about 5 inches long and a broken belt. We would have wrecked before we got to the bridge if not on it. He got us a goooood used tire for a great price. If I even need anything again when I'm up this way I will most definitely well go back to him. I definitely recommend his shop to everyone!

Everyone was a pleasure to do business with. Tom Daft was especially diligent in following up with me initially as I was searching for my next vehicle. Dan answered my questions and sought answers when he didn't have them. What could have been a very stressful experience, was a pleasure. I was treated with respect and integrity. Out of 236 Equinox's in the Louisville area, I chose to buy at Slone. I hope to be a customer for years to come. Thanks to all...Mike Morrman, Tom Daft and Mr. Slone. I will send others your way!

great place. called around and everywhere else wanted at least a couple hundred bucks if not more to replace all 4 brakes. i called these guys bc they advertised 88 bucks an axel so i figured that was much less than anywhere else and i was happy bc i was saving myself some money. when i got there and they redid all my brakes, my bill was less than 150. i guess if you get all 4 brakes done its only that much!!! very cool and i'm very happy. keep up the good work fellas!!!

Great group of guys over at Brakes 4 Less. Went in pretty much riding on metal and expecting to pay a little shy of a grand (ouch!) for the work. Got in there, got my car up on the lifts, and they checked it over for free. Shortly after, they brought me out to see what was up and showed me specifically each issue and what symptoms it caused. Bad news: I needed a lot of work done. Good news: it cost me less than $300 total.

I had an excellent experience with the slone dealership today. Upon arriving on the lot I was greeted by Douglas Samstag who was very polite and after a short greeting showed me what I was interested in. After a test drive and finding a truck I liked Douglas and the sales team did what they could to get me into the truck I wanted. It was a smooth process and I would look to buy from them again should that time come.

Believe me. This place is the bomb. Dave's passion for mechanics shows when he thoroughly explains what your auto needed in terms of brake repair. It's comforting, not to mention edifying. Prices are fair and you get the feeling that he understands that it is not only thorough mechanics that will keep the customer, but genuine customer service. If you don't want to get screwed over, then come here.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
