Clarksburg Area Florist/Bridgeport Area Florist
I Couldn't be happier! Being a florist myself and calling from out of town for a funeral, is always a little scary, not knowing what you'll get. Ms Betsy was supper friendly and very helpful! She even sent me pictures of her beautiful design! I am truly delighted! The spray was very creative and beautiful. I would give more stars if I could! Thanks so much for your help expressing our condolences in such a beautiful way!

Called from out of town and the owner was very helpful. She told me it saved me money if I called her directly rather then ordering flowers online. The recipient loved her flowers and told me they lasted forever! Highly recommend!

Donna's Flower Shop
Last year my wife brought a flower arrangement from Donna's for her daughter's birthday. They were beautiful. So when we needed flowers for a friend's mother's funeral today Donna was our first choice. The flower display was fantastic. It exceeded our expectations and was the best value that we have ever had in flowers. Thank you Donna for doing such a great job.

Clarksburg City Florist
This florist is the WORST. I ordered online and this florist was the one who filled it and they did a terrible job. When I called to complain the owner was incredibly RUDE!!!! She did not offer to fix it just that I should not order online and too bad for me. She hung up on me. I do not know how they are still in business!!!! She even admitted that they did not put the correct number of flowers in my arrangement but just told me I should be happy with it. If you want arrangements that are professionally done, DO NOT use them. If you order from 1800 Flowers this is who will fill the order and it WILL NOT look like the arrangement you paid for. I will tell everyone I know not to use them as they have NO understanding of customer service. If you use this florist after reading several reviews of unhappy customers you WILL be sorry.

Tips & Advices
Making the trip to your local florist means you can actually get the chance to stop and smell the roses. But the hours they are open can be more restrictive.
Online flower shops, work with wholesale florists near your area to ensure they deliver your order promptly. Since cut flowers don't have a long shelf life, these Internet-based companies take your request and contract it out to a florist in your locale to design it and drop it off at your home or office. While purchasing flowers online is convenient - there are a few things the online stores cannot offer patrons. You can't smell the fragrance of flowers and you can't touch the petals or leaves before you buy the plant. Additionally, when you buy a bouquet over the Internet, you're basing your decision on a stock photo of the item instead of the actual one that will arrive at your doorstep.
Yes. These experts can tell you the best ways to take care of your plants or how to properly cut the stems of flowers to ensure they last longer in your vase. Ask them vase to use with which flower and how much water and plant food you should use to prolong the life of your bouquet or potted plant. Even though retail florists don't usually grow the blooms or plants themselves, they do know the best ways to keep your arrangement looking fresh for longer.
Flowers, especially the lotus, figure prominently in Hindu and Buddhist religious ceremonies, as well as in these two ancient religions' wedding customs. Many florists provide garlands of flowers to decorate and festoon the functions with.
Lilies, as well as daffodils and tulips, are especially popular around these spring holidays.
