Advance Auto Parts
I recently had an issue with some items needing replaced on my car, which my nephew was willing to fix. This place helped make sure I had all the parts necessary. I really appreciate going the extra step to help.

Pep Boys Auto Parts & Service
I've never made a review before but my experience was so terrible here I felt the need to warn people! I made an appointment 4 days in advance and showed up 15 minutes early for a "quick 30 minute" oil change. The attendant told me they were out of the oil my car needed, but in the time I spent waiting, I checked their inventory. They had plenty. An hour later, I asked for the status of my oil change and they hadn't even STARTED it yet. I left very unsatisfied. Get your stuff together, Pep Boys.

Bavarian Motors
I created an account to write this review. I have never written a review before but I feel like I must warn potential customers so they don't get misled by this company like I did. After moving to Cincinnati, I choose Bavarian Motors to service my car. At first I thought this was a trustworthy repair shop as I just blindly followed their advice and my car worked. After an oil change, I was given a list of recommended repairs. I don't know a lot about cars so I just accepted their recommendations as valid. I was about to schedule for repairs on new front struts, transmission, and control arms but I got a letter from the BMW dealership saying that I have a free safety recall on my air bags and they were going to replace them. My plan was to replace my airbags at dealership and then have my repairs done at Bavarian Motors. When I took my car to the BMW dealership, I was given a complimentary safety inspection. Surprisingly, they said my car was in great shape, and only needs new control arm bushings. I couldn't believe how the dealership could have such a different opinion. I actually showed the BMW dealership my recommended repairs from Bavarian Motors. They literally laughed when they saw it and said my struts and transmission are completely fine. I then took my car to AUTO4N for another opinion. They concurred with the dealership and I let AUTO4N replace my control arm bushings. I understand there is some subjectivity in telling whether certain parts need to be replaced or not, but there is no way Bavarian Motors weren't "taking me a ride." I am upset that after a year of developing a relationship with this company they would misled me like this. I can't say Bavarian Motors doesn't know how to fix cars as they have fixed my car every time I brought my car in with a check engine light on, but I definitely would stay away from them unless you want to just give them money for necessary repairs.

Carthage Auto Parts Co
I have purchased parts here for years. Knowledge and honest. Quality used parts. If part doesn't fit or work exchange or credit is never a problem.

Advance Auto Parts
A good place for auto parts. They seem to be a step above auto zone in quality. Friendly service and it never seems to be crowded.

When I'm looking for auto parts this is always my first choice. There are five other auto parts places within a stones throw but this place seems to have the best prices.

Took car in due to engine overheating. "master technician" came to the conclusion that I need $1250 in repairs. I told them I'd just come get the car, which I did. Had it towed to another mechanic who diagnosed the problem. A $15 thermostat and a hole in a hose. Total bill, $60.

Tuffy Auto Service Centers
I brought my car in two weeks ago to have my a/c fixed. Everyone treated me with the utmost respect, explaining each step thoroughly. The price was very reasonable. I will not look any further for my car needs. Very refreshing. I recommend Tuffy at Field's Ertel.

Jake Sweeney Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram
Still waiting for my Ram Rebel that I purchased November 11th. as if the fact you sent it out to have a hack mess up half the paint on a 45k truck isnt bad enough to save a few bucks rather than use your body shop....NOW you dont return calls update me or keep me posted. No prep on the truck the day i picked it up, misinformation when I purchased it. Specs missing....Poor service from the bottom line sales all the way to Jake not being there when promised. I sure learned my lesson about this dealership. Waiting on Ram Corporate to deal with you now as your dealership obviously cant handle the sale properly. Pathetic that I have had the truck less than 10 days since I purchased it. And spent over 12 hours and numerous trips from Dayton to your dealership that cant even manage to have a complimentary water in its office. No wonder your cutting corners on paintwork and customer satisfaction.
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
