The Varsity Sports Bar and Grill
4/30/17. Been here many times/today will be our last time! Very low staff.... Wings are great... Had a kids Mac n cheese "meal" that consists of a side cup of Mac n cheese and fries for $7. Thought it was a mistake since we had another kids meal of full burger and fries for same price and "manager" Shannon came out to state "well you got fries right? Very rude and thanked us for our opinion... The server (only one on floor) talking crap as she went back to let know of our question regarding this so called meal...poor all the v way around.... Do not recommend!!! Will go back to leave A real tip... THIS MANAGER SUCKS

Taft's Ale House
You'll have to make a visit to find out for yourself the connection President William Howard Taft, native son, may have with this popular downtown bar and restaurant. Craft beers fill the bars with varied and interesting creations. Beautiful renovation done to the historic church building of yore. Interesting food options for those looking for lunch or dinner with their beer.

Symphony Hotel Bed & Breakfast
Conveniently located next to Washington Park, the Symphony Hotel is nothing short of spectacular. The 5 course gourmet dinner meal is an excellent option along with the various wine and bourbon selection. If you haven't had the opportunity to visit the Symphony Hotel I would highly recommend finding an excuse to check it out

Esquire Theatre
Cutest theater ever. Loved the location. We saw a documentary about Amy Winehouse there. The staff was very friendly. We noticed on our way further into the theater that there was an area that sold wine and cheese, as well as fancy desserts. I thought that was nice and appropriate for such a small theater house.

Westy's Pub
This small bar has a Cheers feel to it with a loyal band of regulars who are quite welcoming to newcomers. Not much room in the main room to listen to live music. You just might be standing. The back parking lot is in need of repaving. Food is pretty good, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Symphony Hotel Bed & Breakfast
Beautifully decorated B & B in the heart of downtown right around the corner from Music Hall and Washington Park. Composer-themed guest rooms. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 2, 3, or 5 course gourmet meals are available. Charming and reminiscient of a by-gone era.

Kenwood Theatre
Smaller theaters in this complex. First run offerings. Beer, spirits, and wine with your popcorn. Might need to use the parking lot in the back. Mondays, Tuesdays, and any first show of the day have cheaper ticket prices

Xscape Theatres Northgate 14
This place is amazing I've seen two movie and it is the only place I will go now. Usually movies make my back hurt from sitting so long but with the comfortable seats I was able to sit though both movies the whole time.

Esquire Theatre
Older theater that shows more limited release/foreign films. Good that patrons looking for such entertainment have this option. A few small theaters in the complex.

Just a moment...
