Puppy Camp-Doggie Day Care
I have been try very hard to find a good doggydaycare to take my two dogs to..someone on a review claimed that this daycare is cheaper than anywhere else. I have taken my dogs tpo the petspot for a few weeks, but also wanted to see if I could find a better deal. The petspot in norwood ohio is definitely cheaper IF you have two dogs at home. I love that puppy camp opens an hour earlier than. The pet spot....but it still saves me a lot more money. For two dogs at puppy canp... $38. ! At tge petspot $28 PLUS they give free nail trims (if asked) for daycare. Just wanted to share this information . Also I would NOT go to dogtown.

Breezy Acres Kennels
From 2000-2003 we took our 6 dogs to Breezy ACRES while going through a 2 yr.lawsuit which we had to travel to Houston numerous times. We always left "Our gang" with Judy knowing the excellent love and care they would receive! I never left them anywhere else! The property& kennels are excellent! They were always so happy when we would pick them up showing the great care they had received! I doubt there's a better place to leave your doggies ANYWHERE!!♡♡♡♡

Puppywood Pet Resort
Puppywood is amazing! The staff is so friendly and always greets our dog by name; they always make us feel very welcome and appreciated. Our dog absolutely loves going to Puppywood and always has a wonderful time. She comes home exhausted, which is great! We've also boarded her here and have had a great experience with that as well. We love Puppywood!!

Animal Care Center Of Forest Park
Everyone is so friendly and such a professional, clean environment. So glad they were recommended to me. I am always referring other people to take their pets here.
Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
