Aqua Locksmith Store
He deftly applied another method to the lock when a simpler version failed. Once the main parts were removed, the replacement deadbolt took a mere 2 minutes. I tested the two keys, and he wrote a receipt. Cash or charge is acceptable. Discover is even OK, which is rare in Cincinnati , OH. The fee for lock removal is $79 and lock replacement is another $79. $158 plus tax. I am getting reimbursed, so his timeliness and jovial customer service was much appreciated as I wanted to sleep more than anything.I highly recommend this company, and for midnight headaches, it is worth the cost. Quick and friendly service trumps cheap every time.

Cecil lock and key was a wonderful help to me. I need a new transponder key for my Ford. I thought I would save some money by buying the transponder blank from Amazon. Even though I had bought the incorrect blank, when I brought it in 2 Cecil lock and key Scott traded my blank for the correct one cut it and programmed it for $20. I'm have been a customer for many years, they replaced all the locks at my church and have always done a wonderful job. I would recommend them for anyone who needs a locksmith.

Aqua Locksmith Store
These Aqua Locksmith Store really are the best. Online not lying. Came exactly on time, cut off my Kryptonite bike lock pretty quickly once we found a power source for the electric drill/saw. Cleaned up everything and even offered to give my neighbor a coupon for services after she let us use her electric outlet mine was too far from the bike. SO NICE & GENUINE. Would not hesitate to come back to them. Really very impressed. They'll even take a credit card by swiping it on their phone :):):)

Aqua Locksmith Store
just had the cylinder changed on my apartment door lock because my former super was recently arrested for using duplicate keys to break into apartments. Creepy, right? I went with Aqua Locksmith Store after seeing all these positive Online reviews, and it was such a positive experience I feel like I have to chime in and give him five stars too. Shon was right on time for our appointment, worked quickly, did the whole thing for exactly what he quoted me, and it turns out he got his dog from the same rescue place where I got my cat! I guess that last part doesn't really reflect on his locksmithing skills, but he was super-nice. If I ever need a locksmith again, no question about who I'll call. Aqua Locksmith Store
I can't recommend this guy enough. Aqua Locksmith Store The best in Cincinnati , OH.Tom is honest and affordable about his pricing, prompt to appointments, intelligent, fun to chat with while he works, and you can just tell is a sincere, nice, really good guy. He's one of the few businesses I recommend without hesitation (and sometimes without even prompting) to anyone I know who's just moved into a new place or is having any kind of lock issue. He's done two units and the main doors in my building so far, and is the go-to guy for me with any lock / door / security issues.

Tips & Advices
Locksmiths-in-training can receive foundational knowledge and skills through programs offered at technical colleges or vocational schools. These would include basic courses on lock mechanics and manipulation, along with general skills like business management. From there, most trainees seek an apprenticeship, where they work alongside a professional locksmith. This allows them to gain experience in the field. It can also put them on a course toward certification.
Upon arrival to your home, a locksmith should ask you to prove that it is in fact your residence. They should also be able to unlock most common locks without requiring them to be drilled or completely replaced. Be sure to obtain an invoice that lists all charges before agreeing to pay.
  • If possible, research local locksmiths online and take note of any that have poor reviews or complaints.
  • When calling a locksmith, confirm their address matches what you found online or in a directory. Then ask for a cost estimate for the service you need, and ask to have them bring a written copy of this estimate.
  • Some states require locksmiths to be licensed. If your state is one of them, require the locksmith to bring proof of registration when they arrive.
The term locksmith traditionally referred to people who designed and built locks, but today is generally used for those who repair and replace locks. Locksmiths can be available on-call to help people if they're locked out of their home or apartment.
  • First, determine the type of lock you have, as well as the manufacturer or model if possible. You should also obtain measurements of your door and frame.
  • Remove exterior and interior knobs by unscrewing any visible screws you find. Many knobs will include a decorative cover on the interior side that can be removed.
  • Once you've removed the entire lock, find the screws on the inside of the door frame to remove the latch or deadbolt.
  • With everything removed, repeat these steps in reverse order to install the new lock.
