Schneller Plumbing & Heating
Schneller Heating and Air Conditioning came to my rescue when my furnace stopped working one evening during the coldest weather of the winter. A very nice Customer Service professional actually answered my call, unlike the other companies that I called who had an answering service or other obviously uninterested person taking their calls even though they claimed to be a 24/7 provider. Schneller’s on-call HVAC tech, Kevin Bowen, arrived within about an hour to diagnosis the problem. Kevin patiently explained the situation and showed me how to manually run the furnace until the needed part could be ordered and installed. After he installed the part, Kevin also stayed in touch throughout the next few days until he was sure that there were no further problems. He was extremely considerate, honest and respectful and reassuring during a worrisome time. It was so refreshing to find a modern company that still believes in old fashioned values of integrity, reliability, and true caring for their customers, which is not easy to find these days. I highly recommend Schneller Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone searching for a company they can trust.

Hello, I would like to take a few minutes to let you know about the service I received. We had called to have our air-ducts cleaned with your coupon. The tech you sent out was Jeremy. He did an excellent job for us & worked very hard! He showed & explained what we needed done. We seen why. We had our air-ducts cleaned & also wanted the other service to clean out the hall return. He is a very hard working man & professional as well. I have read reviews where they always want to sell you services you don't need. So, I wanted to share our experience & let you know that we were very pleased with Jeremy & never felt any pressure to purchase services not needed. We will recommend your company to our friends due to the great service & hard work that Jeremy provided for us!! He is an asset to your company!! Thank you!

We had a problem on our home hvac system for 5 yrs due to faulty installation from another company. It never worked properly and it seemed that we spent more time fixing the unit than actually using it, so i had Schneller come take a look, I haven't had a problem since. Recently, our basement flooded due to a clog in the floor drain. When i called Schneller, they came out and fixed it within hours. Their techs are always professional, courteous & helpful. They hav install units in 2 of our rentals and they work great. I wouldn't use anyone else for my plumbing & hvac needs.

You morons should know you can't get your vents cleaned for under $50! This is no different than the national carpet cleaning company that advertises $99 for 'whole house' but adds money for each stair and tries to upsell stain resistors. If it seems too good to be true it is--there's a reason that's a well-known saying.

Tips & Advices
If there is ever a dispute regarding payment over the course of the project, a contractor or subcontractor could place a payment claim, or lien, on your property. To avoid this, ask the contractor to sign a lien release, which is a legal agreement that states that any payment accepted is final. This can come in handy if a contractor has his or her own payment issues with their subcontractors. Signing a lien release form certifies that any payment made by a client to the contractor is enough to pay for any goods or services rendered.
Absolutely ask. Paying too much up front offers the homeowner minimal leverage if the quality of work does not meet expectations or contractual specifications. Try to establish a reasonable pay schedule, such as paying 10 percent of the total cost for each 10 percent of the work that is completed. Include this payment plan in the contract, as well.
Before any money changes hands, there should be a contract to sign. Make sure the specifics of the work and all costs are listed in the contract, including details. If you forget to have something included in the contract after signing it, there's rarely a chance of recourse.
Ask the contractor for proof of their certification before signing anything, as well as their proof of insurance. You should also check your homeowners insurance policy to see if they offer coverage for contracted work. You may want to call your insurance provider and ask for more details on what your plan will and won't cover.
Yes. Plans for how the work site will be cleaned at the end of each day as well as at the conclusion of work need to be put in writing. An experienced general contractor should make every effort to keep the workspace clean and prevent dirtying or damaging any other area. Even so, talk with the contractor about the daily schedule, the logistics of transporting workers and equipment, and how cleanup will be handled.

Just a moment...
