Ken's Automotive
I went there a few years ago. My car was downshifting by itself, I later found out it was a speed sensor. They could not find the problem. They put some clear sealer on a wire and told me the problem was "condensation" They charged me $100 and did nothing for the problem. Went to another local shop, they knew what was wrong right off.

Do not take your vehicle here for repair work. This guy will take your money and you will never get you vehicle back in the same condition. He will tell you that new parts will be used but will buy them at a junk yard. Please take my work for it do not take your vehicle here. The Attorney Generals office will be investigating.

Curly's Automotive
Curlys Aitomotive is a shade tree mechanic. I told Richard I wanted a rebuilt engine, after being told it was the fuel pump by the lady I bought it from.when we get the car back my son try's to put washer fluid on the windows because the car had been sitting so long. He goes to pour some washer fluid in the reservoir and it starts leaking all over the ground. I go in to tell Richard and his response was he worked from here over. He had to undo the washer fluid hose to get the engine out, I don't know how you tell if it is rebuilt or not. I then call Curly because it is time for an oil change and he tells me I would be better taking it somewhere else, Four days ago I go to Autozone to check the oil, it barely registered. They put in 2 quarts and find out the dipstick is not even bolted down. So I take it to another mechanic who tells me there is oil in my intake. Great!!!! I would not take my car to Curlys,

Ken's Automotive
Had never used Ken's before, took my 2009 Malibu in this summer for a tune up, asked him to check a code I'd had for a couple years, and replace the cabin filter if it had one. I pick up my car and am presented a bill for over $500!! Ken's took the liberty of replacing the sensor causing the code without asking me first, and when they discovered my model didn't have a cabin filter attempted to buy an aftermarket kit and cut up my car to install one!! Top it off with a $25 charge for a $3 bottle of fuel treatment. Do not give these crooks your business, there are reputable honest shops available.

Mark's Auto Repair
Mark's Auto has been our "go-to" mechanic ever since moving to the area several years ago. He was more than fair to my wife while I was deployed to Afghanistan. He consistently does great work at a fair price.
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
