I purchased a Shiba Enu puppy in March of 2016 for 1,500 only to find from the veterinarian of Pet Luv"s recommendation at 3 mo old that she had rear leg problem that would require eventual surgery's , Giardia, and heart, breathing problems! Pet Luv told me that they would euthanized her if I brought her back!The owner was rude and disrespectful when I reported the infirmities and after the vet of her choice faxed the findings she hung up on my phone calls and when I entered the store to return some items I purchased, crate, food etc screamed at me in front of her employees and customers that hey have a no return policy and to never come to her store again. Very unprofessional. Now half of my almost year old puppies teeth have still not come. Can't believe the audacity of the owner! How inhumane of a person with no regard for the animals she sells. They should be checked by a vet prior to sale and she should't be in business! Mad to this day! And every time I hear her huffing and puffing from not being able to breath and look at her poor little half toothed mouth it makes me ill!I purchased a Shiba Enu puppy in March of 2016 and fell in love with her at firtst site from Pet Luv for 1,500. Only to find from the veterinarian of Pet Luv"s recommendation after a 4 day purchase, at 3 mo old that she had rear leg problem that would require eventual surgery's , intestinal parasites(Giardia), very antibiotic resistant that she could only have gotten from the retailer or breeder and heart, breathing problems! When I reluctantly went to return her and get a refund on my credit card the rude and disrespectful owner told me I could get a replacement puppy but not my money back and that my puppy would be euthanized! She also told me to never step foot in her store again. When I found out from my credit card co. that the contract I signed when purchasing was legal, binding and non refundable I went and took my puppy back ! She has heart / asthma /breathing related problems, her upper and lower middle teeth on both sides are impacted and highly unlikely to ever come in I am very disapointed in Pet Luv's No Return policy of anything including living creatures! It's despicable and if the owner really cared about the pets she sold they should have been vet certified for health issues instead of sending me to the vet, which was way out of my area only to be broken hearted at her diagnosis. Pet Luv"s rude and disrespectful female owner should be accountable and ashamed of herself and establishment and apologetic instead of threatening me to never come into the store again! I have the pup to this day with all her infirmities and refuse to be intimidated by Pet Luv facade and puppy mill!

Customer Service was absolutely horrible!!! If you want good customer service go to Lisa at BowWow Pet Laundry in Blue Island!! After being told @Beverly Hills Pups there is a charge of $8 for a re-wash and detecting a massive amount of flakes on my dog, taking pictures and giving the bag with the flakes to the owner, the owner insisted they have noticed this on several dogs and are not responsible?? Because my mother dropped off the dog with the shampoo I used at home he accused me of not having our stories together. Why would she waste her time and gas to go back the next business day and I trying to explain the facts for 15 minutes over $8. I am insulted of being called a liar and would definitely not recommend taking your dog to a place where the Owner is this unprofessional. Not worth the money!! It didn't matter that I have been coming here for a year!! A place not willing to own up to not properly rinsing my dog and sending her home like this is not worth it.

I love the Pet Depot! My dog has been going since I adopted him - he loves it! The staff is friendly and caring, very helpful, and I love that my dog is not stuck in a cage all day. I've taken Henry for grooming, boarding and doggy daycare - all have been 5 star.

Fabulous love and care for the dogs. My 16 yest old border collie and my young collie/ lab have been given the kindest care. Wouldn't bring my dogs anywhere else. Louis and staff are great.

Tips & Advices
Pet owners usually sign a waiver stating that any injury or illness a dog suffers while at daycare is the responsibility of the owner. However, most facilities carry liability insurance and pet business insurance in the event of a serious incident. To prevent illness, facilities are strict about requiring proof of vaccination and general health from a veterinarian prior to accepting a dog. However, in an off-leash setting, scuffles or fights might occur. Reputable facilities will often hire vet assistants who can treat minor injuries and under-the-weather dogs.  For anything more serious, a good daycare should make it a priority to get the dog to a vet, and get in immediate contact with the owner.
