Windy City Bed Bug Specialists
From beginning to end the assistance I received was professional, courteous, and respectful. The entire process was explained completely and any and every question I had on the phone or in person previous to, during, and after the treatments was answered. I was never treated as if I had asked a dumb question and if I needed further explanation they were happy to break it down so I had a complete understanding. Great service, treatment, and best of all they got rid of my issue just as they promised. Prices are very comparable to others but I can only vouch for the service I received and my pick would be Windy City everytime.

These guys are knowledgeable, professional and considerate. Very neat and nothing out of place when I came back home except for the linen which was nicely bagged waiting to be washed. Everything was explained to me and they also had a great sense of humor!

Please be aware, Orkin uses the bait and switch system. If you call their call center to make a appointment they will give you one price and when the person shows up to do the work they have a higher price for you to pay. Their excuse will be, the person you made the appointment with is in Atlanta but we are the ones that do the work. Also they take your credit card number up front. Sincerely, Mad As Hell & Disgruntled Prospect

Murphy & Miller Inc
Murphy & Miller is absolutely the best when it comes to HVAC Mechanical & Technical needs. I have worked with Murphy & Miller in the past so when the opportunity came for my current Condo Assoc to bid out the HVAC contract Murphy & Miller was at the top. Daniel Flores came to the property and submitted the proposal within day, talk about a great turn-around time, he also answered the follow up questions just as quick . Every time I contact Daniel he responds right away and he stops by the office for the more complex items and explain the issue and solution. Once the contract was signed with Murphy & Miller we were sent an amazing technician Mike Wicker and he is great. Mike knows his job and he took the time at the end of his day to explain what he found and what should be addressed in order of importance. WOW talk about customer service!!! I can go on for days about how great Murphy & Miller are but you should try them for yourself and you will not be disappointed. Tiffany N.

We have had very positive experiences working with Murphy Miller at Wheaton Center Apartments! They offer quality work at a fair price. They also do a great job of cleaning up after themselves post-project, which is something other vendor have not accomplished. Our sales engineer is very responsive and knowledgeable. Thanks, M&M, for all you do!

This guy yells at everyone who works here and lost a big client because he didn't handle anything right. In doing so, they essentially had to give up the business and I think they got kicked out of the office because he wasn't paying his bills. Not a group I'd consider. Find a respected group that doesn't have a faltering business.
Tips & Advices
Baits can be effective in situations where you're dealing with a relatively small number of pests. But in cases where there is a full infestation, pest control sprays usually provide a quicker and more thorough solution. Keep in mind, though, that sprays can be toxic to both humans and the environment. In many cases, baiting can be a safer and less hazardous choice.
Yes, many commercial pest control companies offer green products. Certain pest control chemicals can be harmful to both humans and the environment. Some commercial pest control companies use eco-friendly, biodegradable options to keep pests in check, with active ingredients such as mint, rosemary, thyme, boric acid, and diatomaceous earth.
In many cases, pest control methods used in commercial and residential environments are the same, but there may be differences in the way these methods are implemented. For example, both residential and commercial pest control may incorporate pest exclusion, which aims to keep pests out by sealing and securing a building's access points. Since many commercial facilities cover much more space than the typical residence, implementation of this approach would be different.
Commercial pest control differs from residential in the amount of care required. Because many commercial facilities are much larger than the typical home or apartment, commercial pest control often entails more frequent service. While residential pest control usually requires monthly or quarterly service, commercial pest control may take place on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Certain pests are common in commercial settings. Rats and mice plague many businesses of all types. In addition to carrying diseases, such as tuberculosis and salmonella, rodents can cause costly damage by gnawing into pipe work and electrical wires. Bed bugs are a growing nuisance. These pests may be found in hotels and student accommodations, and they can even infest office furniture. Flies are commonly found in restaurants, bars, and food factories.
