My 7 pairs were re-soled and -heeled, blackened & polished, hole patched and same spot matched on the other shoe, and a re-sewn seam. They're fixed and look good as new. Prices are good for A+ quality work.
This shoe repair was a waste of my time. I went there with a simple sandal problem. The strap of my sandal came off so I wanted to get it fixed. The guy said it will take him 2 days to fix this but a week passed and he still didn't fix it. I went there after 5 days and he said, Oh I can't fix it. I told him that, ""You should have called me and told me that you are not able to fix it or if you had question"", to which he didn't have an answer. The guy never even said sorry.
I don't recommend this shoe repair at all. Take your shoe some place where they can finish the job and give your shoe back on time. From reading other reviews, this guy is known for finishing the job late, many days late than promised.
I first took in my favorite pair of leather boots and in just a few days they were transformed like new! I been back a several times ever since.
I took about 8 pairs of shoes in last year to be resoled & reheeled. Not only was the work fantastic, the shoes were shined and like brand new! I think this shoe repair place is the best!! I just took in more to be repaired and can't wait to see the results...stay tuned.
This shoe repair was a nightmare. My sister and I took several pairs of shoes to have the average repairs completed. The owner told us they'd be ready in 4 days and it took 4 weeks. He not only exceeded his own deadline but performed the repairs poorly. We wanted scuffs and scrapes to be buffed and heals repaired and a buckle replaced. We called in advance several times and when he finally said they were ready to be picked up it took him 30 minutes to find them in his shop. The shoes hadn't even been polished and he had to complete the job while we waited. The shoes in need of buckles he flat out didn't even remember what needed to be done to them and then his excuse was that he didn't have the necessary materials. He considers himself an excellent shoe smith but his work speaks to the contrary. I enjoy taking my business to local shops and understand the implications but this went beyond not meeting a deadline or irregular business hours. The bottom line is enter at your own risk as far I'm concerned he left my sister's shoes in worse condition than they were. Her shoes were poorly mended, I don't think glue and paint should be oozing out of the seams.
