19.Holy Name Cathedral
730 N Wabash Ave
The church itself is beautiful. The priests are very nice. The Mass is a little modern. They have 4 or 5 Masses each day so there is a Mass that will firt into everyone's schedule. The bad thing is the parking lot. I have a 15 passenger van and I had no trouble parking in it until recently. The parking lot attendants talk as if they are being extra nice by letting me park there when I have called their superiors who said that I could. The parking attendants are very erogant but the securtiy officers inside the church are amazing. They are very nice, friendly, and non-intimidating. The only bad thing about this church is the parking lot.

27.Wicker Park Lutheran Church
1502 N Hoyne Ave
I've been to this church several times, and I love it because I never know what to expect. The last time I attended, they had the local Presbyterian and Episcopal ministers joining in their service. They had gospel music, as well as some cool South African and Jamaican stuff, and traditional church music as well. The crowd is everyone from young families to older folks, with lots of professionals so it's a good mix. Definitely not the preachy, intolerant, uptight bunch that you find in so many ""Christian"" churches.
