YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.
Bowling Alley in Chicago, IL
3700 N Western Ave
BowlingRecreation CentersParty PlanningPool Halls
Bowling is the new Black. While Waveland stays true to their roots, they are constantly searching for the ?it? factor: the newest, hottest, flashiest thing around. Whether it?s decoration or music, Waveland has it.\r \r Because Waveland is such a landmark, be prepared to wait or call ahead to see how busy it is. They do not take reservations, so be prepared to wait in line, deli style. While you wait, grab a bite at Alley Dogs ? which is much more than just dogs. They serve gyros, Mexican food, and even something for the vegetarians! There are two bars at Waveland, both with exceptional service. (Chris waited on us. Nice guy.)\r \r Did I mention they have pool? These pool tables are incredible! Whether or not you?re actually going to Waveland to bowl or not, you must stop in and see these tables. I have never seen anything like it!\r \r The staff is pretty friendly, for the most part. When our ball got stuck because my girlfriend didn?t throw it hard enough, they were happy to assist. Waveland is also clean every single time I am there. The bathrooms and locker room is spotless.\r \r \r Bowling at Waveland has changed over the years. Recently, they went to an all pre-pay system, and they now charge per hour instead of per game. Either way, it?s still a fantastic deal.\r \r Have kids? They practically entertain themselves at my daughter?s favorite Disney Movie Theater, down by lane 40. It?s always locked, I think. The front desk can open it for you.\r \r Does anyone remember the ?old? Waveland? It was rough, and had a bad crowd. Now, they have security (Chicago Police) there every night. They strictly enforce Chicago curfew, which is nice, because after a certain hour, it?s mostly adults. (You know, the mature kind.)\r \r I love Waveland. My parents took me there when I was a child, and now I?m taking my daughter there. Tradition, Waveland Bowl style.

Came into town to visit with family and friends... Had a great time here! They had ""Comedy Nite"" that evening... pretty funny! The drinks were reasonably priced and strong... I would recommend this place for group fun (especially for people 21 and over on weekends). The food selection was excellent... they had an appetizer called ""Dragon Bites"" WOW!!! LOVED EM! We will be back for sure, and we'll be sure to bring others!!!

9.Lucky Strike Entertainment

I have been there a couple times now and love it. I am not a big bowler, but I had fun even when I wasn't throwing a gutter ball. Most bowling alleys are boring when you go with a group because there is nothing to keep your attention as you wait, especially if you don't really like to bowl. This place has amazing tv screens and don't only play one sport . Overstimulated is a great way. Drinks are not too expensive either considering the location.

If you like good people and bowling this is the place to go! There is always a friendly smile to great you when you walk in. Bowled in a few leagues and the place is great. When you go say high to Bob!

Solid bowling alley and bar, but the kicker is the giant video screens attached to a video jukebox that let users program their own entertainment for the evening. Nothing like a night of Metal Madness on the lanes - I will come here every time I visit Chicago.
12.Fireside Bowling Alleys
2648 W Fullerton Ave
The Fireside Bowl is one of the best places I've ever been to for a show! Its cheap, intimate, and one of a kind. You can get upclose and personal with not only the kids there for the show, but with the bands as well. Fireside is on fire!!! and i hope it NEVER closes.

We had a great time at this place!\r \r Although we were ""tourists,"" we were hanging out with our local friends...therefore, we had fun bowling and drinking at a reasonable price.\r \r The one thing you MUST KNOW before you go is how to score by hand because they do not have the television screens, or that normal ball return that you see at AMF. This is OLD SCHOOL, as it should be. Fortunately, I took a bowling class in college, so we didn't have any problems scoring the game (I got a B on my final, and did well on the bowling score section). \r \r So yeah, I recommend it to everyone!

This review is based on the bar. Girls night out we decided to meetup at Skyway Lanes. There's this cute bar inside, clean and with a nice scenery. The owners and staff were welcoming and friendly. Drink prices were inexpensive. Jean(bartender) was very accommodating and made good cocktails with a smile:) She was even open to new drink ideas. Live band (every 3 or 4 wk). Definitely worth the drive and returning. Thanks for the good experience.

We had to come here because our usual pool joint was booked and what a pleasant surprise. The tables are well maintained. The cues are good enough. The pool room is AMAZING with super high ceilings, large windows that open up for a great breeze on a warm night, and funky old chandeliers. Lots of people but not crowned and the price was right on the money. We will definitely start coming here more often.

I would have to say hands down some of the most friendly and accomodating people around. The bar is very comfortable and classy which makes for a nice night out with friends.

29.Circle Bowling Lanes
7244 Circle Ave
As long as you can navigate around the league bowling here, you're in for a good time. Beer's super cheap off the tap, and Donna or Francis, two of the loveliest gals around, are always willing to pour you a cold one and let you know about your business. They put the wise guys in their place. \r The lanes could use a little waxing now and again, but the craftsman should never blame his tools, right? I can still throw a decent hook even when they're not in top shape. \r Best part about it: you keep your own score. So if you can't complete simple addition, you're either an idiot or you've had too much to drink. In either case, you shouldn't be on the lanes. \r God keep Circle Lanes!
