Brandos Speak Easy
Horribly irresponsible staff. There was a drunk belligerent patron there, throwing things at others and the staff didn't ask her to leave. I'll never go there again and I wouldn't advise anyone else to go there either. Dangerously overcrowded. The pizza was also horrid: poor quality sausage, grainy texture to the crust, and absolutely season-less. Don't waste your time.

My Place
My Place has been a West Rogers park neighborhood tavern since 1971. We have recently made some changes and have a new manager that will be making important decisions and refreshing the overall experience at the tavern. I will review with higher star values once we get there.. Look for drink specials and some remodeling as we ask the neighbors to make "My Place" your place for fun.

Hamilton's A Chicago Bar and Grill
Great time with the family, coming back! The food and drinks were moderately priced and affordable.

Little Jim's Tavern
This place used to be a least welcoming, and busy with regulars for 40 years. Then the new owners came in changed everything, replaced the staff, and seems like most of the customers too.Too bad, Little Jim had a good thing going there.

Small World Inn
We found this gem of a place by accident. The food is awesome. Went during the week for lunch. We were going to walk out we were the only ones in there, no bartender behind the bar. Thank goodness she came out. We live on the Northside of Chicago and stopped there on our way home from IN. Great burgers, kabobs, homemade potato salad and coleslaw. They give you enough food for 3 meals.

Commonwealth Tavern
Great place to go for weekend brunch. They have a Bloody Mary and mimosa bar with great garnishments and homemade tomato juice and variety juices. The food is decent. Not very family friendly as all the tables are high tops. We went once in the evening and the bartenders were very friendly and offered great suggestions on drinks.

State and Lake Chicago Tavern
I'm just visiting Chicago this is my first time and I thought they had outstanding customer service. The waiters and waitresses were really nice and the manager let us know when we came for brunch but there's about 15 more minutes before it closed for lunch but as long as we got our order and they would still make us breakfast which I thought was nice the food was really good it had a really great atmosphere definitely recommend checking it out

Emil's Bar & Grill
Awesome spot for a business lunch. There are numerous decisions on the menu so it doesn't make a difference who you're bringing, I'm certain they'll discover something they need to attempt. I attempted the Turkey Club and it was a Big sandwich with Roasted turkey, fresh lettuce, new tomatoes, and firm bacon. The french fries were fresh on the outside and delicate within - simply like any great french fries ought to be. The service is quick also - awesome for a business lunch. I profoundly suggest this spot for an easygoing business lunch tuned in!

Bad Dog Tavern
Good local eats. Not a very adventurous menu but always very consistent and dependable. Also really love their outdoor patio which is wonderful when the weather is nice.
