YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Went to see Sox/Angels game. Had a great time. This ball park is clean and full of real baseball fans. I even met a Cub fan that not only enjoyed the game but loved the park. He could not believe that no matter where you sit you can see all the action. I grew up 2 blocks from Wrigley Field and attended both Cub and Sox games. You do have to admit that U.S. Cellular is a better ball park than Wrigley. I still do take in a few games a year at Wrigley.

After a long and exhaustive search from downtown to Schaumburg for my wedding shoes, this place has the best selection of bridal shoes in Chicago, bar none. Found a beautiful pair of silk wedding shoes for less than $100 and was willing to pay much more. Their selection of jewelry is amazing which made it more difficult to decide but I worked with a really nice salesperson who helped me make a perfect choice of earrings to wear for my wedding. This plase has the best wedding shoes in Chicago!
3.A Royal Loan Bank

My husband has been a Royal Pond fan for many years. He wanted to upgrade my diamond in my wedding ring and I told him that we should go to Royal Pond since my husband is always telling me they have everything. We went there and told them what we were looking for which was about a 1.5 carat diamond. They of course had two of them. My husband paid him $1800.00 cash for a 1.57 carat diamond that I took to get inspected and appraised for $9200.00. The jeweler could not believe what we paid for the diamond, he said that he couldn't even buy diamonds direct for that price. \r \r We will be going back there probable in about a year to upgrade my current diamond again.. This time we will go over 2 carat.\r \r The key to Royal Pond is one always talk to Himmi (pronounced ""Hi Me"") and always have CASH to flash.... They will sell stuff cheaper if you have cash!!!

Wonderful small musuem featuring interactive, engaging exhibits on rainwater run-off, germs, and other topics that appeal to a broad age-range. Large, live butterfly house and rooftop garden exhibit make this a good destination for anyone visting Chicago with children who have a few hours to spare. The musuem has a small on-site cafe, and is conveniently located next to the Lincoln Park Zoo.

After purchasing tickets to see my favorite band at this venue, I decided to check out some of the reviews. I was extremely disappointed when I read all of these negative reviews and was almost certain that the show was going to be a terrible, complete waste of money. \r \r SO on the contrary! The venue was great. I've been to MANY concerts at many different venues and this absolutely compared. We thought the views were great and the location is very picturesque. The band sounded phenomenal...no signs of any ""sound"" issues. And I don't think I saw a bug or spider all night! \r \r The only negatives we saw was that the chairs in the boxes weren't exactly comfy but who sits once the show starts anyways!?! And beer was a bit expensive if you're a drinker.\r \r Great venue. Will DEFINITELY return!

They remodeled this bank and it is beautiful from the outside in. They are very professional and polite with their service being sure to provide the ultimate banking experience for a patron. It is a very secure place in an active location. You have to have an account with the bank to even gain access into the building. I love the new architectural features.

19.Interstate Bankers Casualty Co
8501 W Higgins Rd Ste 710
I am a customer of Interstate Bankers, and was a customer of US Agencies previously. I can say that Interstate Bankers is on par, if not better than U.S agency. I had a hit and run where i hit someone else and ran without my car. It was an old car, and i did not care for it that much so It was ok with me that Interstate bankers rejected my claim because my car was no-good, and they did a good job at making sure the injured person in the other car did not bother me personally (i am not legal in this country and that was a problem). So, really, it is a very good service for the price and i recommend them a lot. I can't use them under my current name but i'll use them with my new name when the fake social security card come in. p.s: Bambi, the office manager is very cute too. i am waiting for a call back from her. loic

I've had an account here for quite a while and here's what I like about it: free checking, lots of NCB ATMs in town (to avoid extra charges) and the ATM card is designed with a photo of the Chicago skyline---call me cheesy. Also, they are serious about the security of your account, starting with supplying you with a photo bank ID.

23.Alliant Credit Union
11545 W Touhy Ave
Alliant may be great if you have tons of idle cash, but if you're paycheck-to-paycheck like me, then beware some of the following about Alliant before it's too late: -If you overdraw their check card, then for six months they hold all your check AND CASH deposits for a few days each, to make it harder for you to catch up, so they can rake in more fees for bounced checks and missed payments. And those fees are not cheap. -If you are late on a car payment, they cut you off from making online payments, so you have to manually call in your payment when they're there. That's right, they go out of their way to make it harder for you to make payments when you most need to catch up. This apparently is some amusement for them: to punish members. -Alliant engages in a most despicable, apparently-still-legal yet highly unethical, lending practice of "universal default." This means they will use any bad credit item you may have anywhere as an excuse to instantly max your Alliant credit cards to the penalty rate -- even if your supposed "bad activity" has absolutely nothing to do with with Alliant. Late on your store charge? Poof, your 6% Visa is now a 29% Visa. Their goal here is simply to take the least-affluent "members" for all they can get. -Some credit unions staunchly labor to improve and protect the credit health of their members by not reporting 30- and 60- day late payments, but rather waiting until a member is 90 days late to report. Alliant has no such cares and immediately reports all 30-, 60-, and 90-day late payments for no apparent reason. These policies are not advertised anywhere. No one will call to warn you they're about to be inflicted. Two customer "service" reps acknowledged all of the above, but were unable to tell me where any of these policies were in print. They had to have their legal department return my call two weeks later. They couldn't find it, either (but were sure this all probably in one of the amendments to the account agreement). Ask LOTS and LOTS of questions about hidden policies before joining Alliant. If you're wealthy, then I understand you can make good interest with Alliant, so maybe you don't care so much about policies that go out of their way to hurt the working-class members. My experience is from the perspective of someone with bills and credit card debt.

4643 N Avers Ave
When I first opened a TCF account, it was pretty much out of necessity, I was receiving personal checks on a regular basis from a person who used TCF and the limit for cashing checks without an account there is $200. The day that I opened the account, they said that they would be charging me a $6 service fee and that my available balance would be $20 at the end of the workday. Eventually, they took the $6 out, four weeks later, when there wasn't enough in the account to withdraw it. They charged me $80 in overdraft fees and I grudgingly paid it. \r \r About a month later, I deposited a check into my account and it sat pending for SEVEN DAYS. In those seven days, I couldn't eat lunch at work, get things I needed for my house, or even ride the bus! When that money finally showed up in my account, it was to the amount of $166. I spent $80 in one place, $15 in another, and $60 in another. When I should have had $11 left after everything, TCF says I have -$13. And, just today, I get a letter in the mail saying I only had $40 in funds in my account when I made my withdraws. So, where did the money go, TCF? Somehow, I'm supposed to be paying them $80 for the missing money. \r \r Also, they only send me statements when I supposedly overdraft, and they're pretty neglectful when it comes to giving their customers information about THEIR OWN MONEY. \r \r Bottom line-- There's a reason why TCF has to offer $50 gad cards for new accounts.

When I was looking for a bank, I was looking for free services for a small checking business account. They do have that, but the service I found there was the worst I've ever seen. From the get go, I was told miss information that caused me to bounce several checks, even though the funds were available in my account. Weeks after they told me I had the correct documentation to open the account, they call me to tell they need more information and that services like the debit visa card and online bill pay have been delayed. I gave them with the proper documentation that I've received from the City of Chicago, and that I've used to open other accounts. Rather than calling me to try to work out the problem like any normal service provider would do, they simply closed the account and mailed me a check...making my account once again useless for yet another week. Its now been 3 weeks. Do not open a business account here. There are many other banks out there that will actually provide a service working with you to suit your needs. This bank is not one of them. Run from this place!
