Highly recommend! I noticed we had an anti-freeze leak coming from near the back of the engine (NOT GOOD). I thought the job was gonna cost more than the car is worth - but luckily it wasn't what I thought it was. My wife remembered that one of her co-workers had been raving about the auto repair shop he'd been using for many years (B&W). I called two or three other places first (but none of them seemed to know what the problem could be & all suggested bringing it in for a diagnosis - extra money - no thanks).I then called "B&W" & spoke to "Bobby" (the owner - a very friendly guy). I described the problem & w/out hesitation - he said it was likely a "cracked intake manifold" (common for the '98 Mustang 4.6L GT). Ford, in their wisdom, decided to use plastic (which breaks) - when they should've used metal... Fortunately, they learned from their mistake & all the new after-market intake manifolds have been redesigned with METAL - to prevent CRACKING (& come w/a limited lifetime warranty).So, Bobby fixed us up w/a brand new intake manifold - (at a price we feel was very reasonable - considering the complexity of the job & the time/labor involved). I have to say, these guys must be magicians because the Mustang is purring like a kitten & is running better than it has in YEARS!It took them a few days to complete the job (Bobby told me it was taking them a little longer than he'd anticipated). I'm now wondering if it's because they spent a little extra time making a few "other" adjustments - to really get her dialed in? All I can say is - I'm impressed! I don't know if I can recall a time when an auto repair shop exceeded my expectations (it's rare). Good auto mechanics are VERY hard to FIND!!! They showed me my old intake manifold & where the crack was & did not try to up-sell me on anything that wasn't necessary... I even asked if any of our other fluids needed to be changed (Brake, Power Steering, Transmission) - & he said they all looked to be okay.I'm truly amazed at how well the car is running! Bobby, if you're reading this - thank you again!!! If we need other work done - I KNOW WHO to call now.
I took my car to my mechanic. He diagnosed a couple of mechanical and one electrical repair and gave me a price. Problem was he couldn't get it in until Monday. It's my daughter's car that she needs for work and along with the needed repairs the insp. sticker had expired 2 days prior. So I needed it done asap. I showed up at the Chesapeake location Friday morning at 8am w/out an appt. they called me 2 hours later with what they found and a price. They didn't know about my other mechanic already checking it out. They came up w/the same repairs he had and a price actually $20 cheaper. Once I gave them the go ahead they said they'd get started and call me when ready. An hour later it was done! I was home with the car repaired and inspected within 3 1/2 hours of showing up at their shop. They were fast, thorough and very professional. I'll definitely look to them for any future repairs I need on any of our vehicles. I appreciate their honest, prompt and professional service in an industry littered with shops wiiling to rip others off for our hard earned money.
It is rare to find a service provider who makes customer service a top priority. From sales to service to the follow-up to ensure we are satisfied, the experience is first class. I thought we were given special treatment until I overheard her interacting with another customer. She treats every customer as if they are number #1. Even in those rare instances where something has to be readdressed, Nicole goes above and beyond to follow-up and ensure we are not inconvenienced and gets the job done right. Thank you to all the service providers from the technicians, detailers, customer service, cashiers, and especially the shuttle driver who gets us back to work on time. Tack Auto and Diesel is now my go-to shop! I have a 1993 Dodge D250 that needed overdrive repair.. Ended up being a major headache and costing me lots of money with limited return. This include 2 dealerships and on small shop. The most expensive repair, ~ $3000.00 ended up being a wrong diagnoses. In the end I had to figure it out myself...bottom line is the actual fix was about $40.00! (~$3040). Then my truck started leaking oil so I took it to another shop and after about a month they still had not found the leak (see Back Bay Diesel and Performance review). Anyway, someone at Advance Auto told me about Tack Auto and Diesel with real high recommendations. Wow what a difference in service and professionalism. Dealers are out for the new sale, replace major assemblies and don't put much effort into older truck repair. A lot of small shops are into the fast buck putting bling on trucks. MY Wife and I purchased a New Ford F-150 Pickup Truck from this dealership on June 26th, 2016 and our salesperson was Mr. Barry L. Derr, Sales & Leasing Consultant. He was very knowledgeable and patient from the very beginning and presented himself very well throughout the entire business transaction. Further, every-thing was very well organized at the Cavalier Dealership, to include every professional person encountered doing their job. This is the third vehicle we have purchased from this same dealer-ship over the years, and service after the sale is just as rewarding as anyone could expect. Very accommodating and caring. Friendly people. We told them we needed a reliable vehicle for $2500 or less they showed us 3 vehicles. Do not think they check the cars over very well before they put on lot to sell them. My daughter purchased the 2006 Suzuki Reno for $2500. Drove off lot within 20 mins it ran hot. Called salesman and they said once you drive off lot it its yours. However they offered free labor to replace the radiator if we paid for part. We found busted radiator hose so replaced that ourselves and car seemed to do ok the 30 min drive home that night. My daughter got on the road the following day to head back to NC and car broke down and stranded my daughter and granddaughter and car had to be towed home which cost a pretty penny. Still don't know what is wrong with car but she is pretty much stuck with it.
I have been going to Bells Mill Auto for the past 4 yrs and have NEVER encountered a probelm with customer service. The owner is as honest and fair as it gets. In fact, I drive quite a distance out of my way to have my vehicle serviced by Bells Mill. They are the ONLY mechanics I trust. They fix the problem without "creating" more work just to rack up the bill and always suggest less expensive options if they apply. The building and work area is always clean and tidy, they are always friendly and curteous to all who approaches them - whether its work related or not. They are a rare find and I wish their were more honest "good ole boys" shops out their for those who need a fair price and service you can always depend on.
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff as I had a lot of questions. Jacin Lisner was wonderful explaining differences between the fusion hybrid and the Energi, which I didn't understand until speaking with Jacin. I selected the Energi and Richard in Finance then helped me work through a good financing option as well as maintenance and extended warranty packages. He took the time to print out items from the Internet about other warranty options and explain differences. They were professional and I would recommend Cavalier Ford to anyone buying a car, and of course, I only suggest buying a Ford!!!
As always, I have been following Buddy Johnson around for almost 30 years. I knew he was at Cavalier Ford for quite some time. I gave him a call and he was able to find me a 2016 F 150 truck right away. He knew the truck would be made for me. I came up to the dealership and the truck was perfect. He is an outstanding person and has gone out of his way to work with me since I am unable to get around due to surgery. He had everything ready for me when we took final procession on it. I am happy to be a part of the Cavalier Ford family and will let all my friends that this is the place to go.
Went out in the snow today looking for a SUV for my wife. Jason came right out found out our needs and pointed us to a beautiful fully loaded Ford Edge. The man picked a winner and I looked no further. The in house financing was quick and the price great. Walked up a customer and 2 hours later drove off a friend.
