Good experience. Liked being able to seal the deal via email instead of the usual back and forth in the dealership taking all day. Appreciated David keeping us up to date once the vehicle was on the way from Columbia to Chattanooga and letting us know when it had landed!! Only compliant is with the detailing of the car-realize it was new but whomever went over to clean needs to pay more attention to detail. Not dirty or anything just dusty, a few scuff marks, etc-maybe I was expecting perfection! David was great and appreciate his availability and patience in showing us what all the vehicle had.

Andrea and, principally, Eric Liner (his name is not listed on associate list but John Cantrell's is and he is not there) attended to every detail and really get what customer centric service means. Eric is mature, focused, very approachable and processes information well. His professional demeanor is exemplary. He handles himself with patience, perseverance and persistence in busy times as well as less active moments. He went beyond expectations and I am grateful he was my service representative.

My experience was excellent except it is now almost impossible to get in touch with ones Service Advisor. From the main receptionist, I asked for Jonathan Clower 3 times and ended up at the voicemail of other advisors. When I did reach Jonathan I received excellent service. I would also note that Jonathan is not listed as an option above to answer the question... Which service associate assisted you today? People no longer employed at BMW of Chattanooga appear though.

Hub Cap Annie
We were on our way to Florida when we ran over a large rock and split our rim in two. We didn't want to drive any farther on the rim so we stopped at Hub Cap Annie. He did not have what we needed, but suggested a place that did, gave us the exact part number we needed and moved our donut from the front to the back to make it safer for us. He was extremely helpful and saved us lots of time and effort. Thanks!!!

Andrea was great! The service was fast and efficient. Because of the items that needed to be taken care of on my car during this visit I was expected to be in a loaner car for 2 days and surprisingly she called me early in the afternoon to let me know it was ready for me to come and pick up the same day! This was after I had to add on getting 2 new tires. Thanks so much!

Tire World & Auto Service
Very nice people. Very affordable prices. I have been going here for 4 years and I am not switching. They change my oil, they fill my tires if they need it, and they do my tune ups. The tires from their last a long time but when I need a new set, they balance my tires for free. Cool people. Check em out.

Tennessee Georgia Tire & Service Center
Until recently I was a faithful customer. Their business has gone from superior to poor. They claimed they had no tires in my size & tried to get me to buy a new tire. Funny, when a male friend of mine called they had one. I was then told i didnt need a tire, just a plug. Tire went down the next day....

Tire World & Auto Service
Its twice now that I have purchased a set of tires from here and they are a awesome crew that don't haggle you for upsales and both times they were a about $150 cheaper than everywhere else. I'm cheap so I quoted everywhere to make sure. Haven't found a cheaper one yet.

Hamilton County Tire
I got the best deal I've ever gotten on a set of all-terrain tires here. If they don't have what you want, they can get them. I told them what tires I wanted to order and by the end of the next day, they were installed and ready to go. The service was excellent also!

Radiator went out and I had no idea what was going on but did not take Tire World a long time to figure it out. Took a day or so to get the car up and running again but it was a pretty big job so that it to be expected. Price was minimal and work was excellent.
Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.
