YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

8.The Chattanooga Riverboat Co. Wedding Venue
201 Riverfront Pkwy Pier 2
We took the dinner cruise early June 2008 with a 3 and 7 year old. Tight eating arrangements, but it works. We were afraid the boys would get bored and we would be trapped; didn't happen. Dinner buffet is average and family photo is taken before boarding the boat. The experience of the river was great. Captain invites children to visit him and watch him drive the boat. The rails are wire mesh, so no climbing issues for kids, but they still shouldn't be left alone. Find a good spot right after dinner outside to watch the drive back to the dock, unless your family wants to dance. Easy walking distance from Courtyard Marriott and Residence Inn hotels. Also, take small stroller for walk to the dock; no room for folding a big stroller. Dress is shorts to formals. Biggest complaint...boat turned around to pick up 2 people who were late boarding!
9.The Venue Chattanooga
4119 Cummings Hwy
1601 Gulf St Ste 100
I have been to several different types of events at The Mill (fundraisers, weddings, and a birthday party), and it is a fantastic venue! The staff is friendly, helpful, and engaged, the space is gorgeous and clean, the food is delicious, and the location is very convenient to the interstate and to downtown hotels. One of my favorite things about the venue is that it is a blank slate and can be decorated any way and is also elegant and simple just as it is. When I am searching for venues for events, The Mill is always my first choice. No other event hall in town even holds a candle to The Mill. I am definitely a huge fan of The Mill, and I can't say enough good things about it!

14.DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chattanooga Downtown
407 Chestnut St
My parents stayed at this hotel on Saturday night while visiting..., and after we had dropped them off around 1030pm, they got on the elevator to ride up to their room, and were greeted at floor two by some eastern european accented 'patrons' (so they said)... the patrons numbered three, two men, and a woman. They immediately, and inappropriately struck a conversation with my parents (elderly, and expecting SOME Semblance of Security in this USED TO BE REVERED HOTEL!)... the 'patron' asked what floor my parents were staying on, and foolishly me parent answered 10... they responded 'so are we!' and they asked if my parents wanted to party together in his thick poor european english accent... as the elevator arrived at ten, my parent had enough situational awareness to realize this was BAD TO THE EXTREME!... and turned to the other parent, and said, ""Damn, I forgot to turn the lights off on my car..., we need to go back to the lobby..."" The patrons took on a rather quizzical and concerned look, and as they got off the elevator, my parent quickly hit the button for the lobby, and rode back down, and told security of this adverse circumstance. Security acted like they could care less, and said, ""yeah, we'll look into it..."" Then my parents rode back up to a floor below theirs, and walked up the rest, and quietly pursued getting in their room, with hopes of not being bothered by Confidence (Wo)Men bothering them, and managed to make it to their room unfettered. The hotel never even offered to discuss this with my parents, nor comp them the room for the threat, or discuss this situation in order to assure that it would not happen in the future!!!... Very poor slack security in the hotel assures that it, and other DT's will not be used by this family in the future... USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
15.Chattanooga Choo Choo
1400 Market St
Do not stay here if you are above the age of 17 and you want to actually sleep. I am staying in this hotel tonight and there are many large groups of teenagers staying in the hotel. They have been ""meeting"" in the hallway outside my paper thin door for the last 30 min and it is 9:30 at night. VERY LOUD!! I have called the front desk and nothing has been done. I tried to cal the front desk again but now the phone is not functioning, big surprise. The room is shabby and the shower curtain is covered with mildew. I will never stay in this hotel again and I suggest that no adult stay here either. The lobby can be misleading because it is really nice. Don't be fooled!! DO NOT STAY HERE! It is not a cheap hotel either. I could understand if I had spent 75 dollars but the room was 149.00 a night. I expect at least a clean, quiet room for that price.

25.The Chop House

The Chop House is a great place to eat, whether it be for a casual lunch or a romantic dinner. I usually am not a salad person but I actually look forward to the salad here (with bacon bits and chinese noodles rather than croutons). The bread and honey butter are delicous and the steak is usually excellent. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere add to the experience. Definitely worth visiting!
26.Mt Vernon Restaurant
3535 Broad St
Mt. Vernon is a great resaurant to come and enjoy. It has a kids menu but it is not a very up beat atmosphere. The food is amazing though it is some of the best I have had in Chattanooga. I live here so I know some more good restaurants. Wally's definately has the best breakfast in town if you are looking for breakfast joints.

OUR HISTORY Immediately following WWII, Pan American World Airways had a vision of mass civilian international business and leisure air travel and so began trailblazing its way across the skies of the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Thus came the birth of the world's first international hotel brand - InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. The goal was to assist local developers in the design, construction and management/operations of individual hotels in important international gateway destinations and traffic centers. The first truly international hotel brand in the world, each hotel was designed to provide an experience uniquely and distinctly its own. The InterContinental brand became the symbol of glamour, sophistication and success that years later, continue to define international travel and commerce. From our early days, we've been the hotel brand of choice for foreign dignitaries, heads-of-state, royalty, rock-stars, celebrities and those seeking a unique experience. We count many names among our past and current guest list, including George V and Queen Mary, Prince Rainier and Princess Grace, Ava Gardner, Josephine Baker, Nat King Cole, Imelda Marcos, Margaret Thatcher, Louis Armstrong, President and Mrs. Reagan, President Chirac and Prince William... to name just a few.
